99Maria99Great Podcast!I’ve found so much good information from you! Being able to learn the material you cover is such an invaluable resource! There’s one topic I’m hoping you’ll address in a future episode, because it’s something that I cannot find a lot of info on: canine gallbladder mucocele. I had to let my 13.5 year old Shih Tzu go to Rainbow Bridge over a year ago because after an ultrasound, the vets determined that even if they operated, his outcome wasn’t likely to be good. Ever since, I’ve wondered what I missed and have blamed myself for the loss of my beloved little boy. He was hypothyroid, but that’s the only connection I can find. I don’t want to ever have this happen to a dog again, and your guidance would be a blessing. Again, THANK YOU!

JustAnotherLokiVariant🤔Feline Autoimmune & storyNot a single episode is devoted to Feline Autoimmune Disease and medicine used to treat it like Prednisone. Also I wanna say it here but after my cat suffered from it, when it came time for vaccinations or certain veterinary medicines to help her get better, and even the shots needed every several years for a new license tag, rabies shots, we can’t get done without her having an episode. I have a 9 year old female tortie who, ≈ 3 years ago suddenly had no energy at all. She would even get up to eat or drink. We, my mom and brother who had come over, literally brought her water bowl to her and held it while she drank from it. As a first time cat owner when she started showing signs of this disease we all had looks of concern. I know that I felt like I was about to lose my friend. To watch a pet go from being very active to how humans are when seriously dehydrated was beyond understanding. When she didn’t cry in her carrier during the car ride we knew it was serious. She got fluid injected under her skin on her back. Then we were told to give her a steroid to make her eat which meant I had to feed her canned cat food not solid cat food. (After the event we found out that she wasn’t a fan of chicken and rice flavored food but salmon and rice flavored.) Now whenever I see the symptoms, sleeping a lot, not eating or drinking I have to give her meds. There has been a few times where I’ve had to give her canned food. It has gotten to the point that I have a bottle of her meds so that way I can treat her the moment I see signs.

Chelseagirl80Dr. Roger is great! Dr. Karen...ehLove Dr. Roger’s advice and thorough explanations. He’s easy to understand and uses a nice balance of medical jargon and regular layman vocabulary so that all listeners are engaged. Dr. Karen, tbh, is quite annoying with her irrelevant tangents and her voice is like nails on a chalkboard. She is very smart and has a lot of great information to contribute, but I find her pushy and catty (no pun intended) and if I was one of her clients I would worry about what she says/thinks about me behind my back. I generally will listen to the episodes that only have Dr. Roger and skip the ones that include her.

ValnstarThank youSuch a great podcast. The information shared is important and eye opening. I live in FL and can appreciate Dr. Roger’s FL perspective like with Fleas. I have friends and family in colder climates so I also appreciate Dr. Karen’s perspective and information. I’ve listen to a few of the episodes 2 times to make sure I don’t miss anything. They are so pleasant to listen to like two friends are in the room with you.

NinkskiBest podcast everEverytime I think about listening to a podcast I always end up here. These two seem like such great friends who talk well together and joke around easily. They’re highly informed of every topic they speak about, and I learn something new with every episode. Definitely my favorite podcast series and hosts.

Jigs cbScary What I didn't KnowI love this podcast. It's a deep dive into the world of veterinary medicine and pet care from the vet's perspective. Dr. Welton is obviouslyh very passionate about the health and well being of our pets as shown on his January 30th 2015 episode " My Week When Ignorance Was on Full Display". I have only been listening a short while and am already blown away by the information Dr. Welton provides . I am definitely a more conscientious pet parent and can't wait for his new episodes! Great tool for all pet owners!
