Serialously is hosted by Annie Elise, best known for her true-crime YouTube channel “10 to Life” with over 1.5M subscribers.  Annie created Serialously after decades of listening to true crime and craving more than just the headlines; she wanted all the overlooked details everyone else seemed to miss.

Here, you’ll find everything you’d normally end up Googling yourself - the timelines, the red flags, the social media history, and everything in between. Even better, you’ll hear the story the way you’d want to: like your best friend is filling you in. Annie covers cases in an engaging, conversational way with every detail sleuthed out.  Whether it’s breaking true crime news, viral cases, or ongoing trials, Serialously keeps you in the loop in real time - just like having a conversation with your best friend, or hopefully your new true crime bestie!

If you've been looking for someone to chat all things true crime with you and a community that’s just as curious as you are - welcome, we're happy you're here! xx

    Ok but not great
Too much talking-too many details make it hard to follow the point. And news-flash: When you give your opinion you don’t need to state that “it’s your opinion.” Intelligent people know the difference between a statement of fact and one of opinion.

    Celebrity Sponsors?
Can you please stop promoting celebrity brands. Seriously? Kim kardashians skims? Like how are you gonna talk about Ryan Reynolds and Blake lively scandal with Jason baldoni… and then promote Mint Mobile. Seems as biased to me. Enough with the celebrity sponsors.

Great Topics Undermined by Sloppy Delivery
Serialously with Annie Elise covers fascinating true crime cases, and I really wanted to enjoy it. Unfortunately, the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Annie frequently mispronounces words and uses malapropisms that make the episodes feel careless and unprofessional. Her speaking style is also hard to follow—she often talks way too fast, and her cadence is oddly choppy, like she’s unsure where sentences are supposed to end. Combined with writing that feels unedited and repetitive, it’s tough to stay engaged. With more polish and attention to detail, this podcast could be great, but in its current form, it's more frustrating than informative.

    My fav for true crime
I love Annie Elise’s take on true crime events. Her storytelling is captivating and keeps me engaged and wanting to know more. And the coverage of the Karen Read re-trial was amazing. Keep up the great work. I wait for your episodes to drop every week.

    Just so so good
I didn’t think this show could get any better, and then you bring in Alayna for the Read case? She is INCREDIBLE. You make me laugh, but some of Alayna’s comments make me reach for my inhaler. I hope she does this kind of work forever, even if her first love is science, we need her in true crime journalism desperately! Xo

    The BEST true crime podcast
Annie is the best!! I have been listening for about a year (left Crime Junkies for this podcast) and I have no regrets! Annie does such a good job researching and talking about cases like she is your friend chatting with you! Her weekly updates to keep us who don’t watch the news are the best and she also asks her listeners what we want to hear about, which I also love. I never miss a Monday deep dive or Thursday update and have binged all previous episodes plus the subscriber bonus episodes. Seriously won’t regret listening to this podcast

    The Best !!
I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to for this one. “Seriously, with Annie Elise” is hands down my favorite true crime podcast. Annie’s storytelling is clear, compassionate, and so well-researched—she doesn’t just repeat facts, she analyzes them, adds context, and makes you think critically about each case. You can tell she really cares about the victims and their families, and that makes a huge difference. I also love how she brings in updates and ongoing developments, not just old cases. It feels current, relevant, and like she’s bringing you along in real time. If you’re into true crime but tired of sensationalized or careless takes, this podcast is the real deal. I recommend it to everyone I know. Keep doing what you’re doing, Annie!

    Serialously???
My all time favorite podcast. Annie you’re amazing and I love your style! The deep dives are my fave, would love more of those, and to hear more updates about the Diddy trial now and then. Either way I’ll be listening!

    Excellent
I might be a little older than the usual listener. I’m 56. But I love the podcast. I’m always interested in these cases. I just find it fascinating what human beings are capable of. Annie always does her homework. She leaves nothing out. And I, for one, enjoy her asides and commentary. It’s like listening to a friend who isn’t afraid to say what they are thinking. And that’s what I’m looking for.
  • AmWow Curran
    Could be so much better
Love the highlights and facts of a case. Would like just the facts without the annoying host blabbering her opinion. I’ve tried to listen many times but I just can’t stand the host talking off subject and inserting her opinions

years-long fan, but the serial sleuths subscription is disappointing..
i’ve been an avid true crime fan for years, and have loved annie’s channel. i’ve watched her since her very first setup years ago! my husband and i listen to every single pod episode, and have been thoroughly pleased, in fact we’ve been pleased enough that i’ve subscribed. i just listened to the first episode of subscribers only and im really disappointed in the sound quality of this. i’m not sure if it’s a different setup or what’s up with the quality but it’s really irritating when the free episodes are better than the paid version. I SHOULD ADD - yes, i’ve watched all throughout the surgery days and everything and had no issues. even when apple gave me a free trial months ago, no real problems. since then, it’s like the quality has just gone down with each one. it’s on the pod itself; my husband sees the same issue, i see it, even my mom asked if the new ones were being heard next to a blanket or something because it’s entirely different. headphones in, out, different environments, doesn’t matter, just like a forced muffled and almost even rushed audio. this is clearly pod-related and really disappointing seeing as this is a paid version and i should’ve just kept the free version :( update - now there’s reuploads for our “subscriber only” episodes. super disappointed, even more so now.

    Love her
Annie goes above and beyond sharing her cases. I am not much of a podcast fan at all, and especially am picky with true crime. Finding her a few months back has been a wonderful experience. She knows what she’s doing!
  • Mike Murder - Opinion
Husband Under Fire Pit - Opinion
My Opinion: Laurie definitely did it. She originally blamed Jeremy as a first reaction just to take the heat off her. But finally her defense came up with the story that her daughter only fired a shot and Jeremy magically appeared and actually was the murderer. Their phrasing was important as both Laurie and her daughter’s stories stated that Isabel shot the gun, but wasn’t sure if she hit him, that he didn’t move, he didn’t fall, etc. Only did Mike fall to the ground when Jeremy pulled the trigger. To your question, “why would Isabel testify this way?”: I believe that Laurie and her defense team coerced Isabel into this false testimony on the grounds that she was 7 and strictly acting in self defense of her mother (hence all the leading self defense questions from the defense lawyer), thus leading to a lesser charge for Isabel (or none at all) and getting Laurie off. Again though, all of this is concocted by Laurie and her defense team because she is absolutely the murderer. Why else would she pretend to be Mike? Why would she sell off his assets? Why would she ruin her own relationship (affair) with Jeremy by sending the flowers as Mike?? And lastly… HOW/WHY would Jeremy magically show up, during a fight, ON a school day (early morning) for no reason at all in perfect timing to murder? None of it lines up. Nice retelling! Very engaging, and very tragic for this family. I feel especially awful for the children involved as I’m sure they’ve seen some horrible things. Hopefully they are okay one day.

    Thomas Brown Canadian Texas
I LOVE listening to you!! And I think you bring so much light and awareness. I would love you to look into the Thomas Brown case. It is wild and it seems like the SO has kept so much from the public. It needs looked into.

    Annie Elise is very likable
Very likeable! Easy listen, she doesn’t take herself too serious, but respectful to those who are involved, reports facts with small inputs of personal opinions but still very respectful.

I just recently started listening. You are a Fantastic host, tell an engaging story and I enjoy how much of your personality you bring to the show. You’re an awesome crime bestie!! Adding I would love for you to break down cults. You’ve mentioned your interest in how these things happen. Would love some of those deep dives!

    Love the podcast!
Love love love the podcast, absolutely hate the Karen read updates, especially the expert who comes to talk. I don’t subscribe to her, I like Annie, not her!! I rather hear Diddy updates, and yes I do pay!!

Used to like it. Now there’s too much Karen Reed
So over the Karen Reed stuff. Ridiculous

    Pro Karen
Too biased now in the Reed case. Only thing she does now is defend her.

My Go To True Crime Podcast
I found this podcast randomly and now I have a hard time listening to any other true crime podcasts. Annie does make you feel like she’s just talking to you in a less formal and friend way.

    Karen Read
It is so obvious that you have made up your mind on this one, so your evaluations and conclusions are tainted. I will be listening to those reporting on this case that are not as biased as you are.

    True Crime BFFs
Thank you so much for all you do day in and day out! Your podcast is my favorite crime-caster out there!!! You are so talented and keep a very balanced approach while always raising awareness for the victims. God bless you and your beautiful family! I cannot wait for you to come to the great state of Texas! I have even gotten my triplets addicted to you 🥰. They just graduated high school and I have 2 boys and 1 girl. I started listening to you because of the Idaho 4 case and never left you. I’m sure you see why I was so captivated and horrified at that story with the triplet connection. I am now a 10toLifer for LIFE! We love you Annie and thank you!!!

Annie Elise was made to do true Crime podcast!
If you don’t know Annie Elise, then you are missing out. She is the BEST true crime podcaster there is!!! She keeps her shows very entertaining and makes you feel like you are part of her inner circle. I tell everyone about her. She’s the best.
  • ILoveDogs1112
    The bias is undeniable
I listened to the most recent podcast on Sherri Papini. Listening to this podcast you’d think Sherri was the monster she’s always been made out to be. Watching the actual 2025 documentary after listening to the podcast showed me just how inaccurate Annie’s reporting is.

    Love Annie Elise
Serialously with Annie Elise is hands-down my favorite true crime podcast, and Annie’s storytelling is nothing short of captivating. As the creator of the popular YouTube channel “10 to Life” with over 1.5 million subscribers, Annie brings her meticulous research and engaging, conversational style to the podcast, making every episode feel like a chat with a trusted friend. Her ability to dive deep into cases—covering timelines, red flags, social media histories, and overlooked details—sets her apart in the true crime world. What makes Annie so enjoyable to listen to is her empathetic yet honest approach. She presents facts with clarity and respect for victims and their families, never sensationalizing the stories, which I deeply appreciate. Her voice is warm and relatable, and she has a knack for breaking down complex cases in a way that’s easy to follow without losing the gravity of the subject matter. Whether she’s covering breaking true crime news, viral cases, or lesser-known stories, Annie’s passion shines through, keeping me hooked from start to finish. I also love how she encourages listeners to form their own opinions while sharing her thoughtful insights, making it feel like we’re unraveling the case together. Episodes like her deep dives into cases such as the Wichita Massacre or the Karen Read mystery are gripping, meticulously researched, and delivered with a perfect balance of detail and storytelling flair. Even when episodes cover multiple stories, her pacing keeps things engaging, though I sometimes wish there were fewer subscriber-only episodes for easier access. Annie’s background, from fashion forecasting to becoming a full-time true crime pro, adds a unique layer to her storytelling—she’s polished yet authentic, and her dedication to advocating for justice and raising awareness about victims’ stories is inspiring. If you’re looking for a true crime podcast that’s informative, respectful, and feels like catching up with your “true crime bestie,” Serialously with Annie Elise is a must-listen. I can’t recommend it enough

    Honestly the best!
I’ve watched true crime since I was a child with my mom. Now that I’m older I’ve obsessed over any type of true crime content. Watching Annie these past years is something I highly recommend to people when they ask for suggestions. So comforting and to the point at the same time. It’s like listening to a friend at this point! Yes she’s relatable and funny at times but she stays true to the case and respecting the victims which is the main point in this type of content. Love love love her videos/podcasts!

    The Best!
Annie just has a certain way of telling a story that grips your attention and somehow also meticulously gives all of the details. She has the gift of gab, and I listen to every single episode as soon as it posts.

    My Favorite In Every Way
I consider myself a connoisseur of true crime podcasts for several years and this is by far my top. It has everything! The whole and accurate story through great research, updates and a wonderful ASMR -Annie Elise- voice. A wonderful commentary that is truly like spending time with your bestie. I would’ve never thought I would be a paid subscriber of any podcast, but here I am, supporting Annie because I so appreciate the work she does.

    FKR camp
I'm sorry for the FKR camp, because being drunk (and driving) is not a defense. That's a choice. Also, is being an offensive girlfriend and trying to ruin other people's lives is an offense defense. Thank you for admitting your guilt. I hope these children can rebuild their lives with the incredible loss they've endured, and are wrapped in love right now. RIP John O Keefe. I'm sure you were not perfect, my brother. You're gone to so many that miss you.

    Karen Reed Trial Coverage Feedback
Alaina is great, don’t get me wrong. She’s thorough and well spoken.. BUT, my misophonia makes it difficult to listen to her. It sounds like she has braces or a retainer. Not hating, just.. I can’t be the only one who feels like it’s hard to listen to coverage 😬
  • AbbyNolannn
The only true crime podcast you need. Trust.
I started getting into true crime podcasts in 2017, and I’ve listened to them all! I’ve only been listening to Annie’s podcast for about two years - and when I tell you it replaced all of my usual true crime podcasts, I mean that. Annie has a unique story telling style that draws you in and makes you feel like you’re listening to a friend tell you a story. She drops new podcasts so often I always have something to listen to! Her live show in Denver was incredible! Give this podcast a try, you wont regret it. Extra points because it has cured my loneliness many times!
