I have never rowed on the water, but this podcast gave of glimpse of what it might be like in an intense race. I felt like a racehorse being pushed the finish :-) Great podcast!

mistergeebee5Excellent resourceThis podcast has been an essential tool to help me (an absolute novice rower) understand rowing technique and the use the equipment (both the rower and the PM5 monitor), as well as guiding me through a variety of enjoyable and useful workouts. And that’s coming from a guy who thought he’d NEVER enjoy a guided/coached cardio workout! The workouts are varied, the explanations are easy to follow, and Cady gives just the right amount of encouragement and motivation without getting too “rah rah!” for my tastes. Well done!

Owned by houndsCan’t row without these podcastsI’ve been a cycling enthusiast for years (I’m 74). Since moving to Florida a couple of years ago, I found cycling not what it used to be in New England... very flat, windy, and dangerous with traffic. So I purchased a rower. I couldn’t row without these podcasts. They are motivating, interesting, and keep me coming back for more. Cadie Hart is a treasure plus there is a never ending number of interesting workouts. I’m so thankful that they keep me motivated. Keep it coming!

DarbillccoGreat podcast that coaches you through a workout!I would have given 5 stars, but too often the non-host participants in the workout are too far from the mic and can’t be heard. If they ask questions, that can’t be heard either, and the host doesn’t repeat the question. Other than that - it’s great!

Regardless of training age, the programs will be challenging and very rewarding. If you’re new to rowing, or have never been coached on rowing technique, this is a must!

Smedley79Great rowingMore than most, I HATE the erg. But the Concept2 makes it almost enjoyable. Since I do not have to think ahead to the next change in rate or pace I can concentrate on rowing well and strong. The SD Classic row was fun but now you have to plan for the HOCR. I can’t wait
