Beat by Beat Press will go down in history
These publishers understand children and their material is SUPER school production friendly. Denver Casado is a modern artist who has changed the face of children’s theatre forever! Keep it up!! Thank you all - & I’m so proud of you.

    Can’t wait for more...
As a musical theater teacher, I always struggle with what to produce because you want something the kids will like but some well-known shows leave A LOT to be desired for large and diverse casts. Beat by Beat caters to this genre and I love it. More importantly, I’m immensely enjoying listening to them create a musical with these same ideas. Big casts (smaller groups within them), lots of featured roles (for strong singers and actors), fun and upbeat group numbers, all of these things are working together to form what I’m sure is going to be a great hit with my students. Listening to Denver and Brian’s process is also inspiring; it makes me want to dive into our scripts more and connect with each musical I produce. Thanks guys, I listen to every episode. Love the show. Please keep it up!

Behind the scenes and loving it
Big fan of this podcast! Love the creativity of the writers and hearing about their process. I can't wait to see where the show goes and then eventually see it on stage. That will be a cool moment because it feels like I'm in the room when they're writing it.

My daughters have now been in 2 Beat by Beat muscials, and had such a fantastic experience. It's exciting to hear what goes into the making of, and how thoughtfully you consider the child who will be experiencing these roles. Keep them coming!!!

The experts on QUALITY musicals for kids!
I was so excited to discover Beat by Beat Press because the quality of their musicals is the best for this age group I've ever found - and I've perused a LOT of kids' musicals. We are in the middle of rehearsals on "The Grunch" right now and I love listening to them talk about their process of creating new musicals. After each episode, I feel like I can run right out and write a musical myself! Can't wait for the next episode :)

Finally a good musical theatre podcast!
So happy I found this. There’s podcasts about writing for TV/film but nothing for writing for musicals. They do a great job in breaking it down.
