The messages encourage people to have no fear. Scripture specifically says to have a respect and fear of God. Proverbs 9:10. Preaching what people want to hear causes rebellion 2 Timothy 4:1-8.

I'm a member at Church of the Highlands at a newer campus and the things our church/people/pastors all do amaze me. Some people think our church is too big to function the way a church should but having the different campuses and our small groups make this church home. ❤️

I absolutely love Pastor Chris & The Grants Mill Highlands Church :) My BF & I have been visiting the past few months & plan on joining soon. These podcasts are so great as well - I listen to at least 1 almost everyday.

The word go sows into Pastor Chris and everyone he invites to preach is indeed life changing. I'm blessed to be a part of the family and in the body of Christ!

Pastor Chris obviously studies in depth before teaching & preaching. I love that their doesn't seem to be any topic or scripture that he'll back away from. Alot of pastors won't even teach on the Holy Spirit. If you want to know about the Holy Spirit then take a clean slate & an open mind & listen to "breath of fresh air". I also like it when he shoots straight from the hip which is something that he just started doing (IMHO) from his own acct his congregation gave him lots of positive feedback for that. BC he does it in the right spirit & in sincerity not judgment. I am thankful for how God has blessed Pastor Chris!

What a blessing it is to hear heart felt sincere teaching that can only be directed by the Holy Spirit's leading! Thank you Pastor Chris for obeying his voice and coming to Birmingham to give our city an opportunity to be a part of God's great work he is doing here! I challenge anyone to listen to this teaching or any of our Pastor's teachings. God's word is being delivered in a way that can break yokes and change lives forever! Thank you Lord for Church of the Highlands!
