    Amazing!
I am seriously so glad I found this podcast! I’m almost a year out from surgery, and it’s so amazing to find what feels like a group of friends who know exactly what I’m going through. Keep up the great work! I look forward to Monday mornings now because I can’t wait to listen to the new episode each week!

    Enlightening
This show was a pivotal part of my research when my husband was deciding to get his VSG surgery. Of all the bariatric podcasts and influencers, these ladies are my favorite. I wasn’t sure if bariatric surgery was the way to go, but the show really solidified my confidence that it was the right thing for him. I particularly identified with Kasey’s episode. There were so many experiences that she talked about as an overweight person that my husband has verbatim said to me. It really helped me realize the depth of pain that he’s dealt with being overweight his whole life and how that has affected every area of his life. We also happened to be considering the same Dr in Mexico for the surgery that Kasey used, and when I heard the details she shared, it also helped us feel more comfortable choosing him. All in all, I find all of the show hosts to be relatable and reasonable people and I think the topics they share are interesting and nuanced. Highly recommend!

This episode really spoke to me. 4 months post surgery, it touched on so many things. Wish you recorded this before my surgery. A must listen to anyone pre-surgery. Great episode. Thank you!

    Love it!
After having bariatric surgery almost two years ago, I’ve attempted to listen to several bariatric podcasts but was barely able to make it through one episode of any of them, so I was hesitant when I saw this one, but the title spoke to me as I am also the former fat friend. This podcast is great! So relatable and honest with humor mixed in. As someone who’s is almost two years out/not new to this lifestyle I appreciate the support/talk about being years out as I find most bariatric support is only for people who have just had surgery. I’ve listened to all the episodes and waiting for the next release. Thank you!
