Project PrattThis guy is an idealogueThis guy pushed Russiagate and claimed Hunter’s laptop was a Russian plant…..zero credibility. Partisan hack.
-
evilscottMike is greatSome decent episodes of this podcast. However, it is funded by Palantir, a company owned by foreign oligarchs to capture US intelligence data.

hippie bippieThanks Andy and mike! This is a welcome addition to my podcast list…listening to old time radio intelligence reports on Vietnam doesn’t compare to this wonderful educational experience. Keep on rock and rolling Andy and mike! Freedom is defended by intelligence professionals and important defensive preparedness. Y’all explore vast amounts of educational material that teens and adults need to listen too. Thanks to your advertisers for realizing this important podcast needs to be funded for the experience of intelligence and educational materials…you are noticed by listeners like myself.

apt6ixMehIf you want the regime/establishment narrative this is a good podcast. Most guests of this podcast have in some way or shape have overseen/enabled the dramatic decline of the US status on the world stage with their antiquated worldviews

radtzo?FantasticLove the temperament and rythem to these interviews. Class act M.M. 👍

hggftygfIntro music is not a bangerThis is my favorite podcast. So many experienced, well-spoken guests. My only complaint is the intro music, it’s atrocious guys. Reminds me of the People’s Court theme song.

Happy111zzGlad you’re back!I was so disappointed when this podcast was off line or not updated. It really is a fine production, with content that I trust is accurate. Thanks!

P4RSCOutstanding podcastMorell & his guests provide a wealth of info in an interesting fashion. Sometimes I wonder whether they slipped into the classified realm on some discussions. It is a great resource!

Curious CassHigh-quality, Thought-provoking, InformativeThis podcast has quickly become a weekly listen for me. Thank you for sharing consistently high-quality, thought-provoking and informative discussions. One recommendation: I think it is incumbent on this podcast’s producers to invite another AI expert to the podcast, specifically someone who supports more guardrails on AI. I disagreed with many of Marc Andreessen’s positions on AI, but I really enjoyed the episode with him and I found listening to that discussion particularly valuable in helping shape my understanding of AI and AI governance. I have been recommending that episode to others alongside other podcasts and articles with a more skeptical stance toward AI. I would love to see Intelligence Matters also offer another perspective on AI in these still early but already loud days of the AI governance debate while people are still formulating their initial opinions.

Soartan in Western COFor anybody with a remote interest in foreign policy ….It’s simply a must listen. I’m thrilled this podcast is back. Michael did a terrific job before and from what I’ve heard so far, Andy also does great work. In a world of screaming analysts, their straightforward nature combined with deep experience and interest in the subject matter is very refreshing. The Middle East is such a confusing place with so many different groups, I would love a “Middle East for dummies” podcast to try to explain all the groups involved, etc. I would also appreciate if you would included links for additional information related to each topic for people who wanted to dive deeper. Thanks and keep up this monumentally important work.

Expat Pats FanThe FrenchmanI love this podcast, and I love to read. Presently I’m reading a book called “the Frenchman.“ it was published in 2023 and written by a former DGSE operative. it is excellent. You might consider having the author on the podcast. (note: I have purchased books mentioned on this podcast such as the “billion dollar spy“). it would be a slight departure from your normal podcast but I think your listeners would appreciate his perspective.

OGlifterWelcome backI’ve missed this podcast more than I can say. I’m so glad you’re back.

ThaneKriosM.M. Lied About H. Biden’s LaptopRemember that time left-wing Michael Morell reached out to his other retired partisan friends to sign a letter lying about the credibility of Hunter Biden’s laptop so HE MIGHT HELP BIDEN HAVE A TALKING POINT IN A CAMPAIGN DEBATE WITH TRUMP? Then years later, everyone found the emails? It’s arrogant bureaucrats like these who have eroded the trust of the American people in the intelligence community, leveraging their careers to advance inept Democrats in the name of “expertise.”

mrolnickBest insights on the state of the world! So excited to see the return on Michael Morell’s conversation with the players in the trenches. They decode complex relationships and situations incredibly well.
-
CB SwarleyWelcome Back!Very excited this show is back. Quality discussion on important topics from insightful guests. The clear focus to help listeners understand a topic and the implications of what is going on absent any of the manufactured drama that is so prevalent in discussions these days is appreciated.
-
global_chrisNo other show like it. Welcome back!So happy to see the show's return. I was sad about the sudden hiatus earlier this year and was afraid it would not come back. While there are a couple of other great podcasts that cover US foreign policy and geopolitics, there is no one else that provides this unique angle from an intelligence perspective. Michael Morell is a phenomenal host and interviewer. It’s no surprise that his decades of knowledge and expertise show in the questions he chooses to ask and how he directs the conversation. I appreciate that his understated interview style allows you to focus on the guest and topic at hand. It’s unfortunate that the current conflict in Gaza is their return episode, however, it also only seems fitting. In years past, any time an active conflict or crisis emerged, this was the show I was waiting to get insight from. Welcome back Michael and team, and welcome Andy. Looking forward to more of your great work.
