If you hate Season 2 of The Last of Us HBO show this is the podcast for you!

This is a great podcast, definitely worth listening too. Though I probably wouldn’t recommend it if you haven’t played both part 1 and part 2 of the games. Jack and Andrew try to keep this show spoiler free (until a clear spoiler break in the episode) but, drop enough hints at the future (both vague and slightly obvious) that it can get a bit annoying at times. I have played both games, and although I appreciate them wanting to do a spoiler free podcast for everyone out there who is watching for the first time, I wish this podcast would just go all in! Forget the spoilers! You guys are trying so hard to keep them to yourselves, there are other podcasts doing spoiler free format better. I have listened to warfarin strangers, and love how they deep dive into each moment. I would get a lot more enjoyment if Jack and Andrew would just be completely open. Overall this podcast is definitely worth listening to. Sorry for my rambling, this is still a 5/5 podcast, simply had this one “minor” complaint. Thanks guys for providing a quality resource for all TloU fans out there! I look forward to season 2!!

Listen. If you’re going to say you do a “deep dive” on an episode of TV that’s an hour long… The pod needs to be at LEAST 3 hours long. Jack and Andrew deliver on that! They are so insightful and do some amazing analyses of each episode and it is exactly what I was looking for in a podcast! I truly loved going moment by moment and breaking everything down. I particularly *loved* how each episode of the pod seemed to get a little bit more chaotic, each week (particularly during and after Kin). I listened to the podcast during a particularly difficult time in my life and this pod had me truly cackling at Jack and Andrew’s banter each week, which felt like a rare thing at the time. I’m truly thankful for them. After loving (and watching on repeat) the show, I considered playing the game, but after hearing Jack

I am a fan of HBO’s The Last of Us and I have not played the game, nor am I a gamer. However, I have enjoyed this show and the insights provided about the game compared to the show. The banter and “spirited” debate between the two engaging hosts is always interesting and entertaining! Looking forward to more episodes of this great podcast!

Not a TLOU gamer but I might be soon! I loved the show. And loved listening to Jack and Andrew deep dive into the episodes each week. I got to experience the episodes a second without watching a second time. The detailed deep dive and thought process was amazing… and I certainly enjoyed when Jack and Andrew didn’t see eye to eye. Jack’s unparalleled passion and Andrew’s alternate theories draw you in and are very engaging. Loved it! Thanks you two.

I love this podcast. I listen on Spotify but had to download Apple Podcast just to give a review. Besides new TLOU episodes, it’s the one thing I look forward to each week. I’ve enjoyed listening to this great podcast. You can feel the amount of care and dedication to the Last of Us that Jack and Andrew put into each episode. Having never played the game, this pod has been very informative and provides me all the little details I might have missed. I appreciate the opportunity to learn more and just might have to start playing the game. Keep up the great work, it’s been an awesome ride so far. You love to hear it.

I am of the 5% of people who watch the show, become obsessed, and then play the game. 10/10 show. Love the breakdowns. Love the banter. Love the tense feelings I get when Jack and Andrew vehemently disagree <3

as someone who just started playing the game (after having dropped it early on because it gave me too much anxiety) because of the show, this podcast is such a perfect companion to both. I get to learn a bit more about the game without learning too much, thanks to the super vague anti-madlib nonspoilers from Jack, while willfully ignoring/excusing any show inconsistency for the sake of enjoying a thing, like Andrew. can't wait to finish the game and move on to listening to Wayfarin' Strangers to hear more insights!

Being the only person in my family & friend group who watches and plays TLOU I have no one to discuss things with, so thank the universe for Jack & Andrew! The Last Cast not only satisfies the need for character and plot deep dives while providing a much desired comparison to the game but they also drop some geek out worthy Easter eggs and point out cinematography choices that you may have missed. Jack & Andrew know what they are doing and clearly pour their love of TLOU into every episode. So grab a steaming cup of Joel’s favorite brew (and a box of tissues) and make sure to add their podcast to your weekly rotation. Endure and Survive!

Never played the game but this is a great addition to the show. Provides insights, explores characters and helps explore the world of the Last of Us so much more.

Great pod for those new to TLOU or people like me that play the game every couple of months for fun. The in depth breakdowns of the episodes are insightful and entertaining.

If you’re looking for the longest run time, biggest fan energy, and/or have just started watching TLoU this is the podcast for you.

Let me tell you something about this podcast. Boy does it excite me when I see an episode has dropped. I would rate it 11/10 and compare the feeling of listening to this podcast to getting an extra 11th nugget in your 10 piece.
