Gingersnap1221Please Upload AgainI am a geography geek for life, so I spent a very long time looking for the perfect podcast that fit what I was looking for. When I finally found this podcast about a year to a year and a half ago, I was so happy because it was perfect and I loved it so much. Even thought I listen to this podcast to fall asleep, it keeps me awake with how chock full of information and facts the episodes are. I still listen to my favorite episodes of this podcast every night, but it would be amazing to get some new episodes to get some fresh information into my brain. I’m so disappointed y’all stopped uploading, please start uploading again I love listening to this podcast y’all’re great :)

WhyWontAnyNameWorkVery informativeI gave a 3 star because at times you seem to ramble on. I have listened to nearly all of the episodes and I love them. One thing that “ticks me off” you mentioned unsubsidizing agriculture in the housing episodes. Do you realize that food stamps come from agriculture’s budget? And it’s called the “farm bill”. So, before “rambling on” about unsubsidizing something realize what you are saying, because you now have listeners that are taking what you are saying and running with it before researching on their own.

sciencepyarMore info less conversationLike the podcast debating whether to subscribe prefer more information and less banter and personal conversation between two people

EdithAnn BlueMore fun than factualThe hosts are upbeat and pleasant, but if you are looking for rigor, look elsewhere.

katiesloth3000Awesome podcastI’ve been listening through the catalog for the past couple months and I’ve loved every episode but never felt compelled to leave a review until I decided to google what these two men look like and realized that Hunter is a total babe. I’m shook.

AlexAlex101Thanks for the content.Great addition to my collection of pods that put context to random things I didn’t know I’d be interested to learn about. Glad Geoff has a new recording setup for YouTube, but I’m bummed that the Pendleton park mugs are gone 😉

Russell gawatSo Shockingly Bad it’s FunnySeems to have one guy who’s reading stuff out of a book and another guy who is his patsy who knows absolutely nothing. The episode on Catalunya was a farce they kept referring to the Catalonian language never Catalan and when the guy reading stuff from the book would ask ridiculously obvious questions the one who knew nothing would come up with ridiculous answers…. Can he be this uneducated? Not sure who the audience is meant to be I’m guessing US pre teens ?

EthaubInteresting topicsGreat podcast! These 2 scholars present interesting topics and facts that make for interesting and educational listening. I really enjoy their back and forth format. Both bring a great deal to the podcast. I’m a big fan.

marianne_margaretGreat podcast with one drawbackSo informative and interesting - I just wish the host didn’t say “um” almost every sentence. It’s incredibly distracting. But great podcast otherwise!

nrsnorris64Really interesting and need to knowI stumbled upon this podcast and I enjoyed it. They present some really interesting facts and things for you to think about and you learn new stuff that you didn’t know.

jay23890Geography!I absolutely love the topics these two talk about. They are great conversation starters for friends and family because geography is truly everywhere. As a geographer myself, I appreciate that they explain what the geography discipline actually.

brownboyflyExcellentCalling this podcast “chill” does not do it justice. It feels like rubbing vaporub on your chest. It feels like drinking innumerable swigs of fresh water after waking up at 3 in the morning with a bone dry mouth. All this is to say that I love listening to this podcast while working at my monotonous job; it gives me the bit of mental stimulation I need as someone that loves learning about our world and the people in it. Keep doing your thing Geoff and Hunter, Godspeed.

NotemakerExcellent listen for people who like to learnBut don’t worry, they keep it chill and interesting. Not a bunch of facts but instead a conversation walking you through the topic and it’s effect on things we interact with daily as it relates to geography. Thanks for the pod!

Imposter411Love the podcast!Every topic is always fascinating. It was a spur of the moment to find this podcast but always excited to see each new episode topic. Even things I never thought I would enjoy are interesting with the way they present the history and development of how it came to be. Would recommend for listening to get a good first step into any topic they have covered. Would love to see some “what if” make a return however still a great podcast

mcrmusicfreak13This Podcast is EverythingI found What If Geography, now called Geography Is Everything, while searching around on Apple Podcasts. I gave it a try with one of the early episodes and enjoyed it so much that I decided to listen to them all from the start. I’m not quite current yet and look forward to the discussions ahead. As a fellow geography student and enthusiast, I find Geoff and Hunter very entertaining and informative. They do their research and have fun with the subject matter. They choose topics that would be interesting to anyone who cares about our world, and I hope that’s everyone. I have also subscribed to Geoff’s YouTube channel, Geography by Geoff, and purchased Hunter’ book, Upper Left Cities. I recommend that you check out all of them!

Lv.98 Bear CubFun show with some good topicsI have really enjoyed this podcast! Great topics and these gentlemen come to the table prepared and remain humble and open to new ideas. To Jeff and Hunter: An idea for a topic, what if Bretton Woods Agreement, negotiated in July 1944, never happened?
-
Allen in PHXGreat podcast!I love the unique subject matters, which teaches me things that I either never knew of or considered. (Namibia and beer!!!). I like the podcast better than the YouTube videos because they provide more information and much more conversational
