    Best KDrama podcast
This is the best kdrama podcast out there. I’ve tried many and this one does the best job. It adds to my enjoyment of the kdrama by going into so much detailed education about the episode, music, actors, etc.. I listen to it each weekend. I appreciate that they take all that time to put together such a great podcast.

The best recaps for this kdrama newbie
This podcast adds SO much to my enjoyment and understanding of what’s what in kdramas. Even furiously reading subtitles, I realize there’s a lot more to enjoy thanks to their explanations in these well-edited and -produced podcasts. Wow, ladies, keep up the great work! This is outstanding among kdrama recaps. Next up is See You in My 19th Life and like Kingdom, I trust their taste and am along for the ride!

    Best Kdrama podcast by far!
I found your show during Queen of Tears while waiting for episodes to be released and your podcasts filled the void until the next episode. I was searching for anything and everything about QOT and stumbled upon your show. This kdrama has become my second favorite after Crash Landing on You so I’m also enjoying your podcasts on that one as well. Your format (doing a recap of the episodes, highlighting the music and singers, and spotlighting actors/musicians/writers, etc.) provides great background. I enjoy all your insights about Korean culture and the discussions and guests. Where other podcasts may spend 1 or 2 episodes per Kdrama, your deeper dives into each episode is wonderful! You have become my favorite Kdrama podcast and I’ve replayed some of your episodes during my commute to work. Once I can get out of my QOT funk, I’ll have to watch some of the shows you have already done podcasts on so I can listen to those too! Keep up the great work!

Truly a fantastic k drama podcast
I discovered your podcast while watching the later episodes of Queen of Tears. I am thrilled to have discovered a well-thought out, well produced and highly entertaining podcast. I appreciate the summaries (so well done) and most importantly, the in-depth discussions. Both of you are so good in diving deeper into what the drama is truly all about - the message, the lessons the writers want to convert, among other things. As the mother of a writer, I really appreciate your insights. Please continue the great work. Thank you!

    Great podcast!
I found you when I started watching Queens of Tears a few weeks ago. I enjoyed the early episode coverage. Then I couldn’t pause watching so I caught back up with your coverage at 11-12. Can’t wait to rewatch and listen through all your episodes. I could tell you love these dramas and your coverage was detailed. I’m newer to K dramas and this was fun. Now I have back to dramas to watch to see your past seasons. Thanks for the work on this coverage!

    Love this podcast!
I’m a recent bandwagon hopper of Kdrama and now understand the hype. I’ve been listening to recap podcasts after finishing each one and am so pleased to have happened upon this show. I love how they incorporate historical, cultural, and background context to the shows. Certainly very helpful for this newbie to Kdrama. I have a request for you to cover Marry My Husband. Pretty please!

    The best K Drama Podcast
This podcast is amazing. Joanna and Sung Hee do more than just recap and discuss each episode. They do a deep dive into the history, culture, and the language of Korea. And Joanna will let you know everything you want to know about each show’s Original Soundtrack (OST). You will definitely learn something new every time you listen.

The best K Drama podcast out there
My friends and I tend to binge K Dramas. This podcast is the exact opposite. The hosts talk about each episode in depth! It’s so great to hear about things I missed, get the back story and history at the time, and learn a bit of Korean culture and language in the process. I especially love it when they talk about food and clothing! I look forward to every episode! Thank you!

    New K drama fan
Loved Mr Sunshine and this podcast helped explain some of the issues that came up. I had no idea of the prior history between the 2 countries. Also how to pronounce the names correctly. Terrific listening. Extraordinary Attorney Woo is a great show too but I don’t know if you need a separate podcast for it, as Mr Sunshine has so much history and scope behind it.

I searched for a podcast about the K Drama “It’s Okay to Not Be Okay” and found K Drama Chat. I’m so glad I did! I really love how this podcast allows me to relive the shows as Joanna and Jen (and now Sung Hee) “unpack” each episode. I especially appreciate the recommendations so I can add to my “To Watch” list. I look forward to each new episode of K Drama Chat. Keep up the good work besties! Kamsa-hamnida!

So much to dive into in each episode
This podcast gets into what makes KDramas so rich and fascinating: the layers and nuance involved in details that you might otherwise miss. Also the characters and plot are captivating, even more so when you understand the backstories and motivations. Keep it coming!
