I really enjoy how this app helps make the Bible applicable to our lives today, and sometimes even gives background info to help me further understand the reading.

I’m enjoying reading the Bible with watermark. The podcast really helps to reinforce what I’m reading and learning, and also illuminates things I miss.

The Join The Journey podcast has quite literally been life changing! After I read my Bible, I listen to the podcast and gain greater perspective on what I read. Everyone speaking has a love for God that is admirable and like mine, STRONG. It’s an amazing podcast!!! 10 stars!

Great layout and connection with modern problems

As I get ready each day, this podcast leaves me filled with joy and encouragement! I am learning something new each and every day.

I had been following along all this time, Loving the app! Then something happened, when I opened the app the only thing I could see was the verse of the day. While frustrated and troubleshooting, I followed along on my laptop for this past week. Only to realize what would happen if I deleted the app and downloaded it again. It worked wonderfully, and I was happily back to enjoying the app again!

Shortly into this new year, the app started showing me only the January 1 tab/link for reading. Then the app wouldn’t open at all, just a white screen. Since that problem was fixed I can still only see Jan 1 to select. Is it only my phone, or is this happening for everyone?

I love the depth the podcast adds to the passage. The context and questions are helpful every day.

Great teaching, always with freshness and creativity with guest interviews, and the timing easily fits into full schedules we all have!

If you’re looking for supplemental info, a companion podcast or motivation and encouragement to start walking through the Bible, look no further. This podcast along with the JTJ app have been excellent resources providing nothing but scripturally sound teaching. I really enjoy hearing from the WM members they have on as guest speakers as well as some of the elders occasionally 👌

I love that this daily summary is done by the members of the church. So blessed by the others of this body. It is a great way to get a daily dose of the scripture that is needed with perspective of others going through the word

I love listening to hear how God is speaking to others through the same passage of Scripture. It helps me feel more connected to our church body as we read the selected passage for the day and then hear from Emma and different guests. Can I be completely honest? I tried going through Join the Journey a few years ago, and found that there was occasionally great commentary and/or content, but most of it (aside from scripture) was very shallow and often a waste of time. God, through Emma Dotter, has changed all that, and this podcast is where it started. Yes, there are occasionally episodes that could be skipped and you wouldn’t miss much. But now there is someone (or, it seems, a team of someones) actually curating the content and it is SO MUCH better than before. My wife (a seminary grad) has listened to quite a few episodes with me and pointed out that the content and commentary have been excellent, a shock to her after she tried JtJ a few years ago. Plus, this is a podcast I can listen to while I drive to work! It helps me get my mind in the right place before I start the work day. If you are looking for an easy way to get great Biblical content, please check out this podcast. I think you’ll find it worth your while.

I would recommend this show to anyone looking for a quick way to dive into God’s word daily but who is struggling to find the time or gets distracted easily.
