For all of medicine, we have tried to work around and even ignore the impact a person’s socioeconomic status on the success of medical therapies we recommend. Halle brings into consciousness the inequities in healthcare we know exist but have never truly acknowledged with the intention of solving. She goes straight to the source of a problem, doing a root cause analysis and listening to the stakeholders who have been most impacted. I have already learned so much just listening to the first few episodes. This podcast will change the way I care for my patients for the better.
