BergerDeebsWhimsical and insightfulThe Zal features friendly discussions on issues of the day between a religious and a non religious Jew. The discussions are approached with philosophy from each host’s world with an objective to both educate and entertain the audience on both issues of the day and those that pertain to daily living. The flow of the show is very easy to listen to with lots of humor infused within. Highly recommended for Jewish and non Jewish listeners alike.

trloma_42For Anyone, For EveryoneAdam and Dovid are exceptionally skilled podcasters; they make the material accessible to anyone who listens, regardless of their religious affiliation (or lack thereof). I am not Jewish, and yet the conversations at the heart of this podcast resonate with me. The podcast isn't about following a particular doctrine, but about finding ways to live a fullfilling life in service to others. As DFW said, "The really important kind of freedom involves attention and awareness and discipline, and being able truly to care about other people and to sacrifice for them over and over in myriad petty, unsexy ways every day." This pod will give you both clarity and new questions about how to find the "important kind of freedom" we all seek.

Cross fit newbieClear and relatableDovid and Adam have the great ability to take from the deepest of Torah's topics, and decipher it and explain it in a way that makes you feel as if it was a simple conversation between friends. The deep spiritual ideas flow so seemlesly into the dialogue, it's almost as if they came up organically. The topics are both stimulating and inspiring—a great listen.

KarenFielderGreat podcast! How many Zionists does it take to replace a light bulb? Four: One to stay home and convince others to do it, a second to donate the bulb, a third to screw it in and a fourth to proclaim that the entire Jewish people stands behind their actions.
