This horrible pathetic excuse of a podcast is a great way to burn battery life on your phone. Even the hosts know it’s so bad that they won’t even meet in person. When some jackass at a ramp asks me what’s a good podcast to listen to I always tell them this one. Then I laugh on the way home thinking about how I’ve just ruined their day. As my children would say “It’s dogwater”

The Bass & Brew Podcast is a “fishing” podcast that centers around the toxic relationship between a grumpy crappie-fishing host and a sassy White Claw-drinking co-host. It’s a complete s-show as the co-host aggressively talks over the guest and host, while the host drunkenly blabbers about lubricants and cryptids. I only listen because I feel bad for them.

…is better than listening to these two idiots fight over who’s turn it is to talk. Whoever invents a digital speaking stick for these two should win a Nobel Prize. I pity the guests that have to listen to mom and dad argue over who was talking first…Add this to the lightning round. Alex and Paul. Who’s mom and who’s dad?

On the latest episode you guys had a comedian on which is odd because it was the least funny episode I’ve listened to. Of course it’s no surprise since the guy was from Oklahoma, the most boring state south of the Mason-Dixon Line. Crack open a cold one and enjoy these bearded bros talk about the craziest stuff not related to fishing while your brain cells slowly die.

I’m not sure if I’d rather beat it into a broken bottle or waste two to three hours listening to this show. The interruptions are not just annoying but still quite entertaining. No matter how bad it gets I still get to hear the most cut off ending every single week. Keep up the horrible show!

This podcast makes me wanna kick a baby

This is possibly the best/worst podcast ever. It's number one in the Panama Canal but last everywhere else. These two knuckleheads interrupt each other so much it, it is hard to understand what they are talking about. I'll tell what they aren't talking about, Bass fishing or Brews. The original host Alex AKA Swamp Rat Fishing who shows up less than the cohost Paul AKA Jabber Hammer. They don't care enough to even do a small amount of editing so everything is raw. Sometimes it is hard to hear Alex because if he isn't sitting in his high chair he can't reach the Mic. Every episode ends abruptly like they are hanging up on one another. Inevitably every episode we have to hear a Coast Guard story and a Wildland Firefighter story and possibly a college football story from a 3rd string punter (Paul Roberts) Y'ALL LOOK go give it a listen. Paul put that gorgeous bikini back on. That was hot.

It’s beyond the pale that these geniuses are striving to be in anyway shape or form taken seriously? One is to fat for his Kayak and another is too short or too drunk to do any real talking let alone any fishing! Yet like a Amtrak headed for brick wall I can’t stop watching…

I’d rather get aggressive ear cancer than listen to these two retards constantly mispronounce words, interrupt each other and display their piss poor fishing skills on this podcast. The only saving grace is when a quality guest somehow accepts these idiots invitation to join.

If listening to drunken rambling about astroglide and randomness with some loosely based outdoor related content thrown in, this is the place for you.

Bass and brews, the story of 2 men with a hidden love affair for eachother. One looks like frodo baggins hillbilly meth addicted 2nd cousin twice removed, who only comes around once in awhile asking for money and he constantly talks about his glory days in the coast guard floating around on his paddle boat being a puddle pirate. While the other one gives big foot a run for the largest hairiest creature in the world, but big foot is smarter than him, and all he talks about is how he was a 3rd string punter on his backwoods homeschooled football team, and how he was a wild lands firefighter, no way this guy could drag a hose 300 feet, he gets winded from getting up out of his chair. Why anyone would listen to this podcast I do not know, I’d rather bend over at a nickelback concert than listen to these two idiots talk nonsense all day.

My therapist recommended this podcast after I told her I didn’t think things could get any worse. Shout out to Dr. Debra Lipschitz. She’s amazing!

Paul constantly interrupts his cohost and every guest on the show, as someone with ADHD I now know how annoying I am when I’m not taking my medication. As for Alex, he takes every second he can to mention he was in the military, immediately followed by he was Coast Guard, which as a Marine, is the equivalent of a kid in the delayed entry program asking for a military discount.

I’m still trying to figure out why I spend 2 hours of my week listening to this cluster of a podcast. The host who are the equivalent of Shrek and Donkey spend the whole time ragging on each other with no quality entertainment. I mean we all know one is fat as a tick and the other is so short he needs a booster seat in the car, let’s move on please. The poor guest of the show probably feel like they got dooped into doing the show thinking they were going to talk about fishing, they are mistaken. I guess I will have to keep listening to see what they say next. P.S . Selling the hobie= B#%?! Move.

So, I guess Apple didn’t like the language in my last review. But listening to this show, is like watching your buddy light a fart on fire. All exciting at first, but then you’re left with the taste of hot fart in your mouth after…

The show is great especially since Alex came back. We need more Alex and less Jabber Hammer. I mean some Jabber Hammer is good but the real star is Alex.

Love the show, but Paul interrupting you and the guests all the time is getting old. And he isn’t as funny as he thinks he is.

Love this podcast, feel bad for Alex thou. Most be tougher living under Paul’s shadow

Seriously the best podcast I’ve ever listened to… also the only podcast I’ve ever listen to. So that might be saying something. But you guys are hilarious. One of the best parts of my week is listening to you guys on my work commute.

I can’t write anything mean, you guys are great. Even though sparkles wears tights. Personally I’ve seen better legs on a table.

One of the best fishing podcasts on the market without doubt. Can’t wait for Alex to finish filming the Willow remake so the Jabberhammer won’t have to carry the weight of the podcast on his own. Tight lines over everything.
