Great show. Apparently it ended in 2021, which is heartbreaking. I hope it comes back!

Hi, I just discovered your podcast a few days ago and am really enjoying it. I started watching Monk a few months ago and absolutely love it! I am obsessed and addicted to it! My favorite guest star is Brooke Adams. I do not know if you are still doing the podcast, but I was wondering if you were planning on having her on the podcast. Would love to hear from her. Also, if you are still going to be doing the podcast, I am assuming you will have Tony Shalhoub on at some point since he was the main character, as well as the other regulars Bitty Schram, Kane Ritchotte, and Melora Hardin.

Just finished listening to the first season of the RDP. I think it’s great! I hope more will be planned. I just heard about the new Monk TV movie coming out on Peacock. I watch this show before I go to bed at night. I have so many favorite episodes. I know the song by heart! One of my favorite shows that’s up there with Star Trek, MASH, ER and many others! Keep on going Jason and Lara! We’ll thank you later! ❤️

This podcast is fun, engaging, and uplifting. It is a joy to hear from the various people who have had roles on the show, both in front of the camera and behind the scenes. It is delightful to learn where folks are at now, some within the industry, and others who have gone on to totally different things. Jason is a very good interviewer, giving each guest a chance to shine. Lara is a terrific co-host. Both of them respect and value fans as well. I’m hoping for a season 2!

Great to hear the Traylor Howard. The scene where Natalie has to make the smoothie was hilarious.

Monk is my favorite show and I love this podcast!! Jason is so sincere and funny! It’s been so fun to reminisce about each episode and everything that went into creating it.

Monk is my #1 favorite tv show and now I get to reminisce all the episodes from the characters themselves. I watch an episode every night, and now this podcast hahahah! Only on episode #2 and I’m already obsessed. From the name to the host to the trivia-it’s perfect all around just like the show.❤️

Worst podcast I’ve ever listened to. Tuned in because I love Monk and happened across the Traylor Howard interview. Jason asked and answered every single question. I’m not sure Traylor’s collective comments would add up to more than 60 seconds of podcast time. Exhausting. I literally found myself yelling “shut up and let her talk!!”

Just found this podcast and I’m so excited to get nostalgic and reminisce about one of my favorite shows growing up!

My new happy place is this podcast!

Thank you! This is just what I needed. I’m a huge Monk fan and I love hearing all of the behind the scenes tidbits. I was hooked the second I heard the name of the podcast.

I love love love Monk and love the idea of this podcast! It is great hearing how enthused Jason is during these episodes, but I feel he desperately needs to work on his interrupting and interviewing skills. He doesn’t give enough breathing room to the guests and says “sorry to interrupt” at least once per episode! Don’t say sorry, just don’t interrupt! I don’t know if he has questions planned ahead of time, but he should. As well as giving the guests ample time to answer and share stories. While Jason is interviewing he shouldn’t be sharing more stories than the guests are…. During the interview with Ted Leviene, I heard Jason talking way way more than Ted or the fan that was on…. Let the guests talk and allow their stories to narrate the flow of the interviews. I think some changes in the way Jason interviews would make it even more amazing.

Although I do have to agree with some reviewers that the guests could have some more room to just be listened to, it was so great to hear Jason’s and the guests experiences, and this is indeed the perfect podcast for Monk fans. You are given a great picture of the craft and the sensitivity that went into writing and filming a show that was so treasured by America.

Sadly they cuss too much , taking our Lord’s name in vain. Can’t listen to this due to that and certainly can’t listen around the kids. He must be an atheist. Edit: also, he talks way too fast and too much.

Interesting show but Jason needs to stop dominating the conversation. It’s a fun show but I want to hear the guests talk. He keeps interrupting. Hopefully this is just a small bump and he’ll learn quickly. Enjoyable conversation about one of my favorite shows.

Monk has been my favorite show since I was a kid and I’m so glad Jason Gray-Stanford is doing this!! I remember watching Monk with my parents every Friday night for years. Was so sad when the show ended and love that there’s now a way to revisit it and hear from people that provided such great memories. I’ve also dealt with OCD as well for most of my life (maybe not at Monk’s level thankfully) and I always appreciated that this show kind of made me feel represented. Thank you for making this podcast and hopefully it continues long into the future!

What a gift to have this podcast and to be able to listen to the inside scoop from Jason Gray-Stanford, Our family was thrilled when the cast got together to film the PSA during the shutdown and we never expected to be able to hear From Randy Disher himself. Loved hearing from Emmy Clarke. Counting the days until the rest of the cast pops in.

I found Monk during the pandemic and I am addicted. I was a new mom of 2 boys when it originally aired and I don’t think I ever had time to watch tv back then. Randy is my favorite character and I love Jason’s podcast. He definitely has the gift of gab! It is so fun to spend some time with him on Fridays and love the special guests!

For the most ardent, passionate, truest Monk fans like me, we can never have too much Monk! The show “Monk” was indeed the most original, creatively written, brilliantly acted, entertaining comedic-dramatic detective series ever to grace the TV screen. Who can forget Adrian Monk and all the lovable, endearing characters surrounding him including, Lt. Randy Disher, portrayed by actor Jason Gray-Stanford, who is the perfect host for this new, exciting podcast. The “Randy Disher Podcast” is a testament to the wonderful show that is loved and lives on today as it did during the years it originally aired. With interviews by guests including show creator Andy Breckman, and Emmy Clarke who portrayed Julie Teeger, and many more yet to come, it is a must for Monk fans of all ages. I personally am greatly impressed with the podcast and the amazing host Jason Gray-Sanford and highly recommend it.

When I saw on Facebook that this was going to be a podcast I immediately got excited. Thinking of the show again reminded me of my childhood. Every Friday night was spent watching the new episode, and it was something my 92 year old grandmother and I did together. We always talked about this show and we still do today! It was a wonderful way to bond and have our own inside jokes that nobody understood! In this hard and trying time it’s wonderful to have something like this to look forward to, and it’s so nice to be able to bring back what made my childhood what it was!

If you’re a fan of Monk, you’ll definitely fall in love this podcast! Jason Gray-Stanford makes an amazing host, the guests/Fan Fridays are awesome as well, and it always brings a smile to my face when I listen.
