CalHolbertEvery mom needs thisWe all know that being a parent is hard. There is so much we could complain about. But those thoughts don't bring us any closer to actually being the parent we want to be. Tessa has helped me so much realign my thoughts and is helping me become the mom I want to be. I love that she has flipped the narrative of motherhood and it feels so much more empowering that I can show up as the person I want to be. I wish all my close people would listen to this so we could be empowered together.

n/a 246Great concept but the endless plugs for paid content ruin it for meWish I could leave a more positive review but want to offer some honest feedback. While I love the concepts taught in this podcast, and strive towards implementing them more in my parenting, I feel really turned off by how often paid coaching sessions are pushed. I understand the value of this product, however, as an avid podcast listener, Iām drawn to podcasts BECAUSE itās free content that helps me better myself. For those of us who are trying to absorb helpful content without jeopardizing our budget, constant advertising becomes exasperating. When I canāt make it through a single episode without repetitive plugs for paid for content, I eventually feel I have to tune out. Which is unfortunate because I want to learn from this show. Iāve made multiple attempts to listen to and enjoy this show, but the countless plugs ruin it for me. Rather than multiple mentions all throughout the episode, one mention at the beginning and/or the end to say ācheck out my coaching sessions for more in depth and individual information and supportā would more than suffice for those who want that kind of thing, without turning off those who are looking for free content.

NlvhunlvEnjoy except one thingReally enjoy this podcast and her valuable messages and believe the work is so important to motherhood. I do wonder if she realizes how often she says āfreakinā. Itās just off putting and juvenile. Also donāt love if my kids hear it since we donāt allow them to say it. Iām all for personality but this is more of a middle school habit that never stopped.

BredyceGodsendYour podcast has helped me with mindset shifts SO much. Literally life changing for me and my family of 4. My two boys are my biggest blessings and through the hard moments I reflect back to your podcastās episodes and it helps me remember how truly BLESSED I am to be so healthy and their mama and have an amazing husband who supports me.

whitneyj5Such a bright lightI absolutely love Tess content so much. She is the mother I want to be. I love her podcasts, her mind body alignment program and can't wait for her new app to be released.

Becca TriHesitantIām hesitant to post this, but I was really turned off by content Tessa made on her Instagram around this past Halloween. She shared her opinion on Halloween and how she handles candy in their home. Totally get it! But the way it was presented came across really condescending to someone like me who allows their kid to have candy from time to time. Again, I can totally understand her perspective and everyone has their right to share theirs. But, it was such a turn off the way she talked about it. It made me not as excited to look for her content anymore.

delllaneyTears!I may just be a little too postpartum 𤣠but I am crying at the perspective changes in every episode! we can make every moment more enjoyable, and turn it all around with little mental tweaks here & there. Thank you for sharing wisdom & personal life experiences to piggy-back off of.

Makala93Amazing!This podcast is amazing!!! I love it so much! I was reading a review that talked about how she talks about Jesus. The review talked about how she shouldnāt be bring up religion. But I completely disagree! There is SO much that changes in your life when you center it around Jesus. How could you leave him out when doing a podcast or teaching courses. Our job isnāt to cater to the world it is to bring Jesus to the world! Keep doing what you are doing Tessa! This podcast is amazing and I love hearing how your relationship with Jesus flourished! I love knowing that it is possible to change your mindset!

livlihawleyRefreshingFound Tessa through Mamele and itās been a game changer!!! 1000% recommend. I love the way she speaks so positively on motherhood. And against victim mentality! I felt like I heard so much of that, I stopped all media forms cause I started internalizing it and I let it make me feel negatively toward several things. Tessa, youāre such an inspiration! Thanks for keeping real and positive!

Boymommarae10/10This podcast is incredible! I seriously get so much out of listening to it. Tessa is an incredible coach. Episode 95 hit me hard! I NEEDED this advice more than ever after spending the last two days in Disneyland. Tessaās tools on compassion in this episode opened my mind to so much. I canāt wait to practice them and see the difference in my life.

1786360Almost PerfectI love this show so much. It is truly changing how I feel in my own life and for that Iām very, very grateful. However!! There are a couple things that I think alienate listeners and narrow the reach that it has and thatās frustrating to me because I share it with as many people as I can and I donāt like having to give a disclaimer (the content is so strong, I just wish it didnāt need one). Number one- the name change from Mind Body Alignment to āThe Momset Podcastā. Itās not only silly (and it is), but it also just cuts SO many people out of the listening audience. Itās embarrassing to say out loud and itās just not true. Is she focusing on perspective in motherhood? Yes! But she doesnāt NEED to. Motherhood could just be the well from which she pulls her own examples and stories. But the content is for everyone. Okay, next. And this is the big one for me. It has lately introduced some heavy religious language and itās so cringey. I believe in God! And I love talking about the way I believe in God. But I donāt wanna hear āand Jesus was a servant to all peopleā or whatever. Itās hard to recommend it to my friends (especially the ones I know DONāT have their own relationship with God) now because I have to say ājust try and stay focused on what sheās actually saying and donāt be turned off by the Christian languageā. I appreciate what Tessa is doing in this regard, but I just wish she would see that it isnāt serving her greater purpose with the podcast (maybe with her LIFE, but not the podcast). Itās like a business putting up political signs during elections. Cāmon. You are inevitably going to chase some people away and for what?! Is it worth it? Lots to say for that one star. The 4 stars I did give it hopefully shine brighter than the absent one. Because the show is so insightful and it rings through my head all day, especially in the tougher moments. And for that Iām very grateful.

yodab300Mindset matters! This podcast is wonderful. It doesnāt try to be a therapist or doctor, but through thoughtfully asked questions, we are encouraged to identify our mindset. Itās amazing what we can accomplish when we slow down and shift our perspective. Iām grateful for this podcast that is specifically geared towards mamas. I especially gained a lot from the episode about early morning wakings. Thank you!

KatherinewenzHer light shines bright!!!So many things I could praise about this podcastāthe truth, humility, inspiration, and straight up advice on how to become your best self in motherhoodāitās truly a gift! I must say, Iāve always loved the podcast but felt the God aspect was clearly missing. I could tell you were a believer and everything you shared added up and I just couldnāt figure out why you wouldnāt go there but now I understand why. ITS BETTER THAN EVER now that youāve brought God in!! Truly, your encouragement and advice makes way more sense and carries so much more weight with Him in the picture. Iām so proud of you for including us exactly where you are in your journey. Iāve been a Christ follower years and have grown up knowing scripture and going to church but never really reading the Bible and youāve brought such a novel and exciting light to it! It makes me feel more confident to dig in myself with excitement! So thankful for this podcast!

TahshieLoved your episode about GodThank you so much for sharing a beautiful and vulnerable episode about your experience with God. I really loved your story and perspective. 2 things: 1- The more I study mindset/thought work the more I believe that God and those things go hand in hand. He created our brains and the more we master using them the more we can come be be aligned with Him. I would love to learn more about your thoughts with mindset and God. 2- please please please read the Bible! At the very least the New Testament. Learning about Jesus will change your life. Listen to the Donāt Miss This podcast and theyāll walk you through the New Testament with a few chapters each week.
