This is now my go-to podcast for audio comprehension practice. Lots of topics with lively conversation. The conversation is fast enough I think I would have struggled if this was my first intermediate podcast, but it feels right for mid-upper intermediate levels. The range of presenters is great and helps you learn to understand different speakers. I love that it’s daily so I don’t run out of content!

If you’re looking for a fun and interesting way to practice your listening skills in Latin American Spanish, CharlasHispanas is a wonderful choice! There are hundreds of episodes available on just about any topic you could think of, and somehow they still manage to produce 5 new episodes each week - each one just as interesting as the last! At the beginning of most episodes they say “Aquí aprenderás todo lo necesario para llevar tu español al siguiente nivel”, and believe me, they’re not kidding! Kudos to the entire CharlasHispanas team!!

I am an advanced beginner/low intermediate Spanish learner, and this podcast has helped me a lot in being able to listen to Spanish. I visited Colombia recently, and there were a number of podcasts that were about the places I visited and I found interesting and helpful for my visit. I’m preparing for Peru now with the Peruvian episodes.

I have been listening to Hoy Hablamas for a few months now and it is one of the best and most consistent Spanish podcasts I have found for intermediate students. I live in the US and so am more exposed to Spanish from Latin America and when they said they were coming out with another series it was a dream come true. I am super excited about this podcast!!
