The Hippies & Cowboys Podcast will bring you conversation about everything within the world of country music. Each episode will feature fresh tunes from artists that are keeping the true sound and substance of the genre alive. Along the way, we will be giving these talented voices a platform to share a bit about themselves and provide the opportunity for listeners to get acquainted with their favorite artists. Sharing insight from both sides of the 49th parallel, hosts Garrett (Alberta) and Mike (Iowa) will promote great music, and try to figure out what the hell rhymes with Bronco.

Even within the realm of “alternative country” you’d be hard pressed to find way to learn about and connect with both up-and-coming, and well established artists like you do with this podcast. Y’all are doing an awesome job, and I really enjoy laughing along with you and your guests while I work. I look forward to more, and will likely message you some folks to hopefully have on. Really solid podcast!

As a fan that likes to learn as much about the musicians I like as possible, this podcast is great. It gives a glimpse into their lives on and off the stage, and lets you listen to their music while learning more about them. Keep up the good work, guys!

Good guests

Y’all have potential and ask good questions but it’s just the lack of flow and energy that kills me. Guests will be eager to answer questions and tell jokes and it seems like y’all get really nervous and already try to dictate where the conversation goes instead of naturally following what they have to say.

Real country, really good

Hey guys, loving the podcast so far!! Love how y’all are putting out country artists that I haven’t heard of. I was wondering if y’all could potentially put out a playlist on Apple Music or Spotify with what y’all are listening to. Also I want to hear y’all’s opinion on Koe Wetzel. I’ve heard of a few people like Grady Smith give they’re opinion on him and usually the people that I know of listening to him are college aged students like me. Keep up the great work guys!!
