I love Ween so much and this Podcast really is The Best. One small complaint - Andrew 100 percent says “100 percent” way too often.

The hosts seem like good guys and they can be funny sometimes but 95% of the podcast is them talking about anything other than Ween, and when they do actually discuss Ween it’s clear that they’ve done almost zero research. So, if you want to hear a couple of strangers talk about their jobs for twenty minutes and then discuss a Ween song for five minutes (while asking each other questions a simple google search would answer) than this is the podcast for you!

This podcast has been a revelation. Jay is the man and the perfect guide for this extensive tour through Ween’s formidable discography. The 20-30 min episodes are a perfect companion for my dog walks. Thank you for putting this out in the world!

I want to give this 5 stars so bad, but Dave ruins some episodes for me. I lived season 1 immensely, and I was so looking forward to them doing the Pod. They brought on Dave to replace Andrew for reasons, and he was obnoxiously negative and argumentative. He can’t grasp some concepts, namely music as high art. He argues with Jay which is super annoying. My favorite podcast but I can’t stand Dave.

PWS is a darkest brownest show about any band ever. I started getting into Ween a couple years ago and found this when the first episodes were coming out. It’s been an educational course of the Ween catalog. The hosts are good storytellers and it’s clear their love for Gene and Dean is pure. Jay is the man. Once Andrew returns from North Korea he should join Jay and Dave, hopefully for Chocolate and Cheese.

I fell in love with Ween in 2019 after listening to chocolate and cheese and then seeing them at desert daze.. I really dug into their stuff more during the lockdown. This PODcast has really been there for me during all of the turbulence of life recently. Thank you Jay and Dave for being my best parasocial friends. Can’t wait for Pure Guava!!

Not sure if I can cuss in my review so I’ll keep it clean when I say they know their STUFF. I look forward to ween Wednesday every week to catch the new episode. Their other b-side show that’s available somewhere else is imperative as well. Love the dynamic between Dave and Jay. My only criticism is it’s going to take forever to get to the albums like white pepper and quebec. We’ll get there though.

Loved the 1st season! But I gotta say I was pretty bummed out today when I went to listen to both of the two newest episodes starting off season 2 and found Dave there instead of Andrew. Dave seems like a cool guy, besides him trashing most of The Pod so far, and dissing Fluffy whole heartedly, and then not really having any more memorable comments besides those... so yea I’m going to be a little broken-hearted actually if I won’t get to hear Jay and Andrew together bouncing ideas off each other and bringing those great vibes to the show anymore. I binge-listened to all these episodes through quarantine and really ended up loving the two original hosts dynamic, it was something I really started looking forward to I realized, especially now considering it may be gone. I have another favorite podcast that I’ve been listening to for 3 years now that would be equally saddening if one of the hosts vanished. Just think if Gene was replaced with one of Dean’s homies after the first album... yea I’d still listen to what Dean and his other homie would do... but it wouldn’t be the same...

Where’s Andrew??? I miss him and want him back as co-host!!! Who’s this guy that doesn’t like fluffy?!? Still the best podcast in the world but #BRINGBACKANDREW

Love the Pod. I’m in for the ride all the way through to Your Party in 2023. One question - we seem to be in a world where the GWSTO live album was never released, and I’m not ok with that. On the Nicole episode, there was wonderment as to what Nicole would sound like live. What was up with that?

While I disagree with the opinions expressed concerning Philadelphia and (separately) Dylan’s “Self Portrait” album, these guys are as brown as the brownest Poop Ship Destroyer. Rock on!

I am just now entering the realm of all things Boognish, and am enjoying this podcast as a way to immerse myself and get my bearings in the world of Ween. I especially love the Mickey and Aaron interview and music snippets added as these two travel through Ween’s history.

Jay and Andrew are very relatable dudes and you can just hear the shared love for Ween. They have great chemistry and make you feel like you’re part of an intimate conversation the entire time. Keep it up, guys, I’m hooked.
