    Game Changer
My Adventures in ESL is an absolute game-changer for ESL teachers! The resources are engaging, well-structured, and easy to implement, making lesson planning a breeze. Whether you’re looking for differentiated reading materials, vocabulary activities, or interactive strategies, this platform has it all. One of my favorite features is the Close Read of the Month Club, which delivers high-quality lessons that cater to all language levels. The inclusion of digital versions, audio, sentence frames, and text-dependent questions ensures that every student is supported. Beyond the resources, the community and insights shared make this a must-follow for ESL educators. If you’re looking to save time, engage students, and simplify your teaching, My Adventures in ESL is the perfect resource. Highly recommended!

Practical Tips for Inside/Outside of the Classroom
Highly recommended for educators looking for actionable insights and real-world success stories! The DonorsChoose episode was a game-changer for me, providing insightful tips and real-life examples on how to effectively use DonorsChoose to fund classroom projects. Thanks to this episode, I've successfully funded several projects. And Millie’s classroom-ready writing frames are great for a variety of classroom settings. Additionally, the episode on preparing for interviews was incredibly helpful, offering practical advice and strategies to ace job interviews.

    Practical tips ready to go
I’ve been a teacher for 20+ years, teaching one year of ESL Reading to intermediate to advanced 9th and 10th graders and about ten years as an ELAR teacher who worked with mainstreamed intermediate to advanced ELL’s. This is good, basic content for ESL teachers of all levels of experience, but especially newer teachers. I never feel I’ve learned everything there is to know, and I always appreciate refreshers and reminders of things I want to do. Listening to this now is a great way to begin planning and stirring your motivation for a new year. I like the first strategy: plan and schedule your self care as thoroughly as you do your lessons. Looking forward to more episodes.
