I’m sorry but I can’t take the same ads Joe and Serena READ, it’s brutal! AND they seem so uninterested in their guests lately it’s almost like I can’t wait for it to end and I feel like I can barely hear what is happening a lot of the time, like they are talking so low or something is wrong with audio. It’s definitely getting stale and as much as I like Kathy and Susan, they are funny together, I have been skipping those because it is the same thing over and over and them talking over each other and just answering the same type of questions from fans ….. UPDATED: I have changed my mind on this after listening weekly still, I wanted these recaps and continued when I didn’t think I would. Joe may be a little awkward at times lol but he is really funny! and Serena is so very sweet. I loved Becca and miss her hosting but I am glad that this has gone back to just talking Bachelor / Bachlorette and not forcing certain views on the listeners, as I feel that’s how it was becoming at times unfortunately. It’s just very straight forward and simple and fun and I am enjoying it more than I thought I would. I LOVED this podcast and looked forward to it weekly and I was even listening to past episodes in downtime. BUT I have been wondering where Becca and Michelle have been. Becca has been my absolute favorite since she started. Now they have abruptly switched the hosts? With no explanation as to why? So odd. As adorable and sweet as Joe and Serena are, they are just not good hosts for this. I don’t like to be negative but I had a hard time listening to these first two episodes. I am not sure I can continue to listen :(

Joe seems like he never wants to podcast, he’s always rushing conversations. Serena doesn’t ask interesting questions, it’s always very predictable, just so bleh.

Serena needs to be more mindful of how she speaks to Joe. Saying “I don’t know what you’re talking about” or “you are not making any sense” sounds a little dismissive and disrespectful.

I love Kathy and Susan, but I wish they would plan better for the Podcast. The constant talking over each other and their guests is getting old. They need to allow each other to ask questions. I always feel bad for the guests. They have to struggle to be heard. Plan better and have a great podcast. Work with each other to allow time for your questions. I know you are excited to speak to your guests, but slow down.

I love Joe and Serena! Can’t stand a podcast with Kathy… a feeling like she’s overbearing and rude to Susan and it’s hard for me to get through a whole one anymore with the golden ladies. Sorry, but I think it’s got to go!

As boring as Joe and Serena are, the golden girls are worse. Enough said.

The two podcasts are okay, but I wish they would cut down on the number of episodes per week. Honestly, 1 episode/week for each is enough. Also, the advice segments with the golden girls is getting very repetitive.

I enjoy listening to Joe and Serena, but cannot get through a podcast with the golden ladies, Kathy and Susan. Susan is tolerable, but Kathy is simply overbearing. Kathy turns every item into a story about herself and at this point, who cares? Neither were strong contenders on their season and I just don’t understand why they have a platform. I’m 62, definitely in the golden age range, and will not listen to Kathy and Susan. I cannot imagine the younger audience members feel differently.

We just listened to the podcast with Guy. We love him even more. Kathy, we love you as well but you interrupted him a lot. Please let your guests speak.

I think Joe and Serena are so awkward lately. They bicker and seem unhappy with each other. I think Joe is bad on mic, he hurries the conversations with Serena just as she starts sharing interesting updates about her life. The “getting to know” quizzes are almost embarrassing, maybe they do it because Joe cannot hold a regular conversation like on a professional podcast. Save this podcast, bring a friend to have conversations with Serena and dump Joe.

As an avid listener across all Bach podcasts since the beginning, I don’t think I’ve ever written a review. Kathy’s constant “jokes” coming onto young male guests are aggressive & inappropriate. Often bugging them multiple times. We hear the discomfort in their hesitant responses while tryna be polite. It’s cringy for us listeners as well. Zip it! In this day and age, her behavior is harassment & a poor reflection on the franchise. She’s just rude & crude tho she tries to fake it, but true selves always show thru. Maybe try out another Golden w/ sweet Susan.

Really would have loved to hear what Wells had to say! Kathy and Susan, love your enthusiasm; however please let your guests finish their sentences. And, Kathy, please let Susan finish when it’s just the two of you. Trying to provide helpful comments as it’s getting tough to listen 😉

I really enjoy their podcast. Great ladies. PLEASE though- STOP talking over each other. It is so annoying & makes it hard to follow what either of you are saying.

I really enjoy the golden our podcast. However, Kathy and Susan really need to stop interrupting and talking over their guests and each other. It is making it very challenging to keep listening. Please please please when you ask a question of a guest or each other, do not respond or talk over the answers!

I only listen after I have exhausted every other bachelor podcast. This is their official one so it’s a little too safe. But when they have Jared freed on, it’s amazing.

I’m not being dramatic, this last year I was working a job that was extremely stressful and I could not fall asleep at night. I have listened to this podcast to fall asleep almost every night for the last year. Knocks me right out. It’s so boring and the hosts lack so much personality and genuineness. Sometimes the episodes are so boring that it even wakes me up out of my sleep and I have to turn to a new episode. But I won’t stop listening especially on restless nights LOL. This podcast + some sleepy time tea is the best recipe for a good nights sleep

The recap episodes are about 10 minutes of ads. Listening to Serena read a Chevy equinox ad with a million stipulations to it drives me crazy each week, who is buying a car from listening to a podcast? If it’s going to be so many ads, get some relevant partnerships!

I love hearing the recaps of the episodes and the host thoughts on it. However, I feel like they try a little too hard to be neutral when giving their opinions or interviewing controversial contestants. Which is strange since we all watch the show for the drama. I want them to ask the hard questions and give their honest unfiltered opinions! Even if I don’t agree with them it would be more entertaining. Also, way too many ads.

Joe! I think Jack has a stronger Chicago accent! Almost mobster like! 😂 I grew up in Orland Park (right next to Tinley Park) and we did not have accents like Jacks. I believe he is truly from the south side of Chicago probably near Midway airport. That’s my guess!

When ever I listen to it I’m so happy when I finish an episode.

I came to this podcast recently and really enjoy Joe as Serena as hosts, they bring two different things and are great at balancing each other out. Serena is so sweet and asks great questions while Joe is so real and isn’t afraid to tell it like it is. It’s cute between them, a really fun energy. I love Joe and think he brings something very grounded and real. Keep up the great work you two!

Maybe Susan has no idea how difficult and also rewarding being a stay at home Mom is. It irritates me how that question was answered. There will always be time to work but you can’t get back the years when children are little. Kudos and love to any stay at home mom! It’s the hardest job but so rewarding! Love Serena and Joe. Great questions for Jen. She seems too insecure and needy and maybe that’s what led to Devin dipping out. Thank goodness for the fast forward button! So many ads!

It feels like the hosts Joe and Serena never want to cause any rifts in the bachelor nation “family” so they don’t really speak their true opinions on how awful some of the current contestants are, they’re always playing devils advocate even for the worst people and it gets a little old it feels like all their breakdowns are just very bland restating of what happened in the episode

For some reason I see Jonathan Johnson and Olivia Lewis hitting it off. She seems to fit what he is looking for.

Congratulations. You have achieved the win: stooping lower than Nick Viall’s wife hinting/begging for comped merchandise/services. Serena’s outright ask for a free trip to Hawaii now replaces Natalie’s roundabout plea for a David Yurman necklace. You know zero shame. Here’s my reaction in words Serena will understand: I cannot.

Joe sounds so apathetic and unprepared. This is definitely not the type of podcast for him to host. He and Serena made the interview with Jeremy so uncomfortable to a point that he had to ask them questions to avoid the awkward silence. Serena has a pleasant voice and presence but doesn’t sound like she watches the show and comes off unprepared. Please bring new hosts.

Serena is a good host but Joe is really hard to listen to. Serena’s energy helps the guests engage in the conversation. Joe’s energy seems to drag the guests down and makes me feel like I’m listening to someone who is bored with his job. He doesn’t know how to ask good questions or come up with decent follow up questions. The show would benefit from either having Serena do this solo or getting a much better co-host to hold up their half.

Not a fan of Joe. It feels like he dismisses and undermines her and just argues with her about things for the sake of arguing. It’s obnoxious to listen to. Would love to hear Serena host with a girl friend from the franchise.

I watch the Bachelor/bachelorette for light entertainment. The podcast has become a political agenda platform, which I might or might not agree with. I used to listen to this for entertainment and will listen no more. Please note that now that Joe and Serena are hosting I am back! Could not tolerate the constant political agenda of Becca and Michele. Welcome Joe and Serena. Glad you are here My 5 star review is for Joe and Serena, who are a refreshing alternative to the political agenda being pushed by earlier hosts. Love Joe and Serena! The Golden ladies? They are cringe worthy and I only listen to them if they have a guest who I might want to listen to. Honestly, its awful….perhaps the podcast will improve when the next Golden Bachelor/bachelorette season starts. But seriously I would rather listen to Joe and Serena. Nice try ladies….but its thumbs down for me.

Wish they had their own feed apart from the original. I admire the difference in opinions but sometimes Kathy won’t let Susan own her opinions and talks over her. Needs to work on that. Otherwise love the show. Don’t really listen to Happy Hour because Serena is annoying.

Not a fan of Joe. I really wish he would clean up is language. All the times he chooses to use the F word are just unnecessary.

I loved the pod when it first started. Now I find myself feeling so annoyed with each episode due to the CONSTANT interruptions of guests. They don’t listen to their guests, they interrupt them nonstop and I simply can’t listen anymore.

Love Serena and Joe! You can see how authentic of a couple they are, and I just love how they riff off of each other. Joe always cracks me up every episode. But for the love of god…. PLEASE stop putting golden hour episodes on this channel. They should be separate.

I’ve listened to many recaps, but BHH has just gotten lazy. The number of times Joe and Serena mention not paying attention or just getting details wrong just comes across as lazy. Those looking for a recap are interested in takes on the details, but these hosts miss the mark in almost every recap IMO. Interviews are fine - except Joes tendency to interrupt and talk over guests at times.

I have been listening to Bachelor Happy Hour from the beginning and by far Joe and Serena are my favorite hosts! The show is light- as it should be. I look forward to listening to it on my walks. Their recaps are fun and they are both very natural with their guests. Joe is a little awkward at times but it’s endearing and you can tell that Serena really gets him-their chemistry is super cute. I also love listening to Kathy and Susan on Golden Hour! They give great advice and are so funny together- I love their friendship and could listen to them every day!

Can we please, please, PLEASE separate Happy Hour and Golden Hour?! This review is for the Golden Hour episodes that are mixed in. Long time fan of the Happy Hour, would give it 4-5 stars. Kathy’s recent comments about how someone who is divorced and raising young kids would not have time for a relationship felt like a gut punch. As someone who is going through that situation, we don’t need reminders that life is hard and lonely. The words may be true, but I think that there is a more considerate way to deliver the message.

Susan and Kathy are terrific podcast hosts. They are delightful and uplifting and wise. Such a good time listening to their show. Great job ladies.
