I enjoy listening what Nate has to say. Jared is a bad communicator and will ramble on too long

Probably the worst Angels Podcast out there. These guys just seem miserable. Every once in a while I give them another chance but can only take the whining for a couple of minutes.

Love the show, mostly catch you guys on podcast app from Apple, but occasionally on YouTube as well. Looking forward to the 2024 season even though things are looking less than perfect this season for the halos. Anyways, keep it up and I will continue to be a listener.

Enjoyed listening to some of the episodes, and agree Angels’ lack of communication is a big issue, but listening to all speculative anti-Ohtani just because Angels would not inform all Angels fans about much (about Rendon, either) turned me off. Ohtani truly loves baseball, having wanted to play baseball to contribute to Ángels’ winning as long as there was even a little chance of going to be in the post season. After that chance is gone /MRI result, he is done for the season, been with his teammates during the last two games in the dugout, talking with younger players to be helpful, cheering for the team. He is expected to be there during the last stretch in Anaheim (dugout), they say. I understand your frustrations about the organization.

These guys have a lot of good knowledge about the minors, but their flippant attitude about their listeners calling them racists after their routinely disrespectful comments about Shohei Ohtani makes this podcast unlistenable. It’s hard to take them seriously, when they make comments like, “It’s hard to connect with Shohei Ohtani because he doesn’t speak English.” There are many more Angels podcasts that are much better than this one - skip it!

The fact that you had an episode the night of the Detmers no hitter merits an automatic 5 stars!!!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a delusional Angels fan! I know where we are and have been for many years. But I also like to be optimistic and have some hope. Not saying we’re gonna win a ring but the signings we did definitely helped our team. Just cause we didn’t get the players that talkin halos guys wanted doesn’t mean we didn’t get better. But it is an informative podcast. After I listen I just feel negative and bummed. Probably won’t listen much anymore.

Love listening to this pod! However, can Nate get a good mic? It sounds like he’s talking through his phone on every single podcast and it bugs me so much!

I want to like this podcast but the effort to have facts correct and the preparation is sufficiently lacking. The amount of times where I know they state things inaccurately is insane. Do you homework on topics you bring up or don’t bring them up. Give us quality not quantity, y’all have potential just too lazy to put in the effort to reach it.

Jared is not a good host, repeats himself constantly and stumbles most sentences. Always agrees with the guest and then goes into long meaningless speeches. These guys repeatedly say the Angels need to win now and get trout and ohtani to the playoffs yet after the Angels sign Noah Syndergaard they hate the deal because it’s 1 year and they’re worried about DRAFT picks!? Cmon guys, can’t have it both ways.

Nate has great comments to add but Jared is so good at continuing to talk without saying anything. Yikes, wish I had a one-way mute button

I enjoy the episodes of this podcast very much when the episodes drop . However, I wish the episodes were released on a more consistent basis .

I always look forward for the pod after Angels games. Good analysis, really consistent reviews of the games.

I enjoy the content and the guys quite a lot, but one large frustration is that the audio levels of the different speakers are often quite different. I end up having to constantly adjust the volume up and down to compensate for this. Thanks very much

I looked through sooooooo many angels podcasts as a HUGE angels fan. This one is the best by far. Love this podcast

Derek is great but the others will provide little knowledge or value.

Derek and his crew offer insight and intelligent discussion about something I care deeply about, Angels Baseball. They are knowledgeable , informed and if you are a serious fan of the Angels, this worth your time.

As a diehard Angels fan, this is my favorite Angels podcast. Derek is a great host, Jared is very knowledgeable about the game, and John offers good insight from the fans perspective.

I always enjoy these guys talking baseball! Great Angels coverage, but also a true love for the game of baseball as a whole. Keep up the good work!

I listen to nothing but sports podcasts and I truly enjoy Talkin Halos. It’s well balanced in regards to things they do like and don’t like and not every one agrees with each other. Which makes great sports talks and debates. I like the detail you guys talk about with both pro and farm teams. Keep up the great work fellas. Really appreciate how thorough the boys dive into the team. Coolest part about this pod compared to others that follow the team, is that the three different perspectives from the hosts really counter each other well, providing balanced analysis. Keep killing it!

This is one of the few Angels related podcasts that posts on a consist basis which is nice for me as a fan especially during the off-season when there isn’t any baseball to watch. Love the insight the guys bring and the love for the game. They give quality analysis of the team and the moves they should and shouldn’t make. It’s a great listen so check em out. Go Halos!

Talkin Halo’s is great. Derek brings great insights and broadcasting talent. He interviews well and brings on some fascinating guests and former players. Jared brings the analytical analysis that is so much apart of the game today, as well as the perspective of one who was a player and now coaches college ball. And John brings the enthusiasm and fire of a diehard fan! It’s a balanced podcast that is real enjoyable listen.

I really enjoy listening to Talkin’ Angels! It’s very informative and the people that are on this show are very knowledgeable about the game. I really enjoy listening to the analytics side of baseball. I’m glad that is discussed as well. If you are an Angels fan you gotta subscribe.

It’s hard to find a good baseball podcast these days, especially one that is about your favorite team. Talkin’ Halos is definitely an enjoyable podcast to listen to while at work or working out. They are getting me super hype for this upcoming season. Go Halos!
