Love it! Such a great podcast!!

I love that I found these guys. They give REAL perspective on movies and I appreciate their fun banter. Both are funny but Pass is hilarious!

I always look forward to the Fiends’ reviews! Interesting perspectives to analyze films in a different light. Their insights have caused me to be more than just a “casual” film viewer when watching new content. Especially enjoy the horror reviews!

The whole point of talking to someone else on a podcast is to hear the other person’s opinions, had to stop because one of the hosts made a comment about how the tripping effect was for the audience and the other guy just kept telling him it was just the guy tripping… like y’all can both be right as long as you back it up but you would have had to pass high school English to know that which I’m starting to doubt they did. Also “ maid queen” google exists…

I should have known better when two straight white guys complained that diversity in a horror cast was being too “politically correct,” was going to give them another chance but read these reviews and that’s clearly just the type of people they are. Not worth it imo

How is this podcast so terrible? Bro, dude, dawg. And in the JoJo Rabbit episode they really have to stop using the term “Jew girl”. I am not a snowflake and I don’t choose to be offended by much....but you’re not smart enough to pull off satirical use of hateful tropes then don’t do it now cause you sound like anti-Semite *ssholes.

Happened upon this looking for It Chapter Two discussion. Couldn’t listen for more than 15 minutes. Learn to speak, then podcast bro.

Typical male bro’s who have no background to expound on anything cinematic not the brain power to learn anything a year into “podcasting”. The Chester Pennington-lite host has the worst voice ever and tries to pontificate on film theory but often falls on his face without knowing it as they are often pleased with their weak film speak. And once again on the 1917 Podcast they have to drop homophobic speak once again because they hate themselves. These guys are trash.

Just got through most of the Midsommar episode. Both hosts are very ignorant, homophobic and racist. I won’t go into examples because a lot of comments have already beat me to it. Clearly the majority of people listening noticed. Very disappointing because they actual had some decent insight into the film. Won’t listen to these two again.

Stumbled upon the 3 from hell review - the movie was a total let down! Def subscribed!

He keeps saying “dude,” “yo,” and “bro” every 5 minutes. Had to stop midway through the podcast.

The coked up guy has no idea what he’s talking about. I listened to half of your Midsommar podcast and I couldn’t get through the whole thing almost everything you said was so stupid I was mind blown. You should actually look into the movie before making an hour long podcast about it. You clearly never tried psychedelics in your life.

Almost as bad as nails on a chalkboard. Not only is their pronunciation of some of the Game of Thrones characters downright cringeworthy, they are extremely offensive. Probably shouldn’t use the words to describe Tyrion and The Lannister’s that they do. Won’t even write them down because it’s just not cool. Don’t really know what possessed them to even review Game of Thrones, but I’m really glad the show is over for the only reason being that these idiots can’t review it anymore. Oh, and their Midsommar review was almost torture. Brain dead morons.

Learn what the word “literally” means.

I’ve been listening to these guys for a while now, and they never fail to deliver. They always have a fresh take on movies, music, addiction and current events. They have fun, engaging guests and tackle every topic imaginable. I love how opinionated they are and how much they argue with each other over the smallest issues. They also keep things exciting with games and they’re just overall entertaining. This podcast is interesting, informative and a lot of fun to listen to. Another 5 star episode, from two 5 star men. Keep it up!

cannot believe these guys have no shame in releasing this publicly. Was put off after the first 3 minutes of the Midsommar episode but kept listening to see where it went. Not only were the viewpoints unrefined and details about the movie completely depicted incorrectly, but beyond that, there were some super problematic sections. Egregious comments included: -referring to a red headed character as looking “aids-ish” -referring to a mentally disabled character as “retarded” numerous times -homophobic jokes -referring to a not skinny woman as “frumpy” and objectifying almost all the female actors -using the scripted names for each character except for Josh whom they referred to as “the black guy” Unbelievable- there were so many problematic things about this podcast, it should be removed.

I was really enjoying this podcast on Midsommar up until the point when the podcasters started using the ‘R’ word to describe one of the characters. I was shocked to hear them using it, as I thought by now everyone knew the offensive and demeaning history of that word. It is unacceptable, and I feel that the podcasters should remove that section of the show. Please consider your friends, family, and listeners who may have intellectual disabilities and use people-first language.

These guys are great and NOT high, for you new listeners these are to EX-addicts, they’re not high, not frat boys. This generation has gotten way too sensitive. Just enjoy the honest review, their humor, and great view points you might’ve missed watching the films/shows!!

They’re funny and gives good reviews, but definitely sound very stoned and says these phrases ALOT — “is what I’m trying to say” , “without a doubt” and “100%”. It’s very repetitive haha!

Interesting in the beginning, but they seem to get stoned and have no really insight. All over the place , we’ve all had high conversations before

Frat boy movie reviews. Can’t get past their immature language and phrasing. How many times do you have to say banging? Hard pass.

Listening to this Podcast is like listening to two frat boys try to wax intellectual about a movie they watched. I was interested in hearing some of their points, and I was trying to look past their endless slew of “dude”s and “bro”s, but then they start slinging around extremely insensitive language like “fat chick” and the r-word. It’s also clear that they don’t do any research. It’s just them driveling on about opinions they think are nuanced. I wish there was a way to get back the twenty minutes or so minutes that I tried listening to this.

Their review was upbeat and kind of like talking to a friend for the first few minutes...then they start dropping the r word and throwing around terms like “mongoloid” and you realize your friend is really out of touch, uneducated, and not someone you want to associate with any further.

The Midsommar episode was just fantastic, can’t wait for more episodes!!

The amount of dude and bro is too much for me, but wait it gets worse. Skip this for a different podcast that doesn’t ask which character the hosts would most want to bang and repeatedly uses the r-word.

There actually are some good observations and discussions, but after hearing them say “bro”, “100 percent”, and “totally” a million times and reference “retards” over and over again, I’ll find something else to listen to. The talking over each other is very frustrating as well. Slow down the pace, become just a *tad* woke, and increase your vocabulary and this could become worth listening to.
