As younger Nashville fan this podcast is great to learn about the history before I became a fan (back in late 2023). I’m 15 but still a big fan and go to all the matches. Clay, Valair, valued listeners. I, Stephen Robinson, must confess. Something I have been covering up since my first days in Nashville after moving from Ann Arbor. Like members of that other big team up north, I am a spy. If you don’t believe I have the ability to be a spy, just go watch Valair’s instant reaction from Saturday’s game against Toronto @valairshabilla on most social media sites. Believe it or not. That was not Valair. That was me. I have kept my true alligence in so well. Leading supporters groups. Making a ton of passionate soccer fans from what was basically nothing. All on my own. No help. Just some deep research on NashvilleSoccerArchive.com) I did all of this for this moment. For the most prestigious cup. For the most prestigious team. One of the originals. In fact THE original MLS Cup champion. My DC United. My Randall Leal. My Lucas McNaughton. How do you think they ended up on that roster? That’s right me! How did I seem to support Nashville when I my true love is DC? Through backroom deals with other Supporters Groups to get DC in to the Southern Championship. I had a public facing reason to stay close to MY team. So how did I let it slip? In a moment of weakness, I called all y’all out. How are you going to beat my United in June in the Open Cup when you could only pull off a meager draw not more than 10 days ago. DC is in my heart. Nashville is under my foot. That’s it. Nothing else to say except Vamos United.

Hello, my name is Stephen Robinson and I have something that I need to get off my chest. I can no longer keep up this mask - this facade. Ladies and gentlemen, it is with a heavy heart that I must tell you “I am a Chattahooligan”. That’s right, I’ve decided that Chattanooga FC is now my favorite soccer team in North America! As a former NSC fan, I am very familiar with my team losing in PKs and felt right at home watching them get knocked out of the US Open Cup and decided to toss my hat in the ring. With that being said though, I can only truly and wholeheartedly support one blue team at a time, so not only will I be forsaking Nashville’s blue and gold, but I will also be saying goodbye to The Blues. That’s right, as of today I am no longer a fan of Chelsea Football Club and will instead be supporting the historic and honorable Manchester United. Up the Red Devils!

Love the soccer content of the show. Very informative and insightful into NSC. I give 4 stars instead of 5 because they seem to lack the awareness that not everyone thinks the same as they do on things outside of soccer. I’ll keep listening and hoping for continued success.

Last, but certainly not least, Valair’s insightful and professional media takes bring a much needed media outlook to this new club. Nashville soccer originals who know the club deeply, are intertwined with local supporter culture and bring a dynamic approach to analyzing the club. Good humans who know NSC as well as anyone but don’t hold it over listeners’ heads! A delightful pill to swallow.

Based on roster signings in the last three years it seems that the club is satisfied with minimal spending and just being competitive. Banking that we can make the playoffs and hopefully catch fire. Is our style of play a consistent winning formula? What expectations do you think fans should have for this season?

These guys help me feel connected to NSC from a couple hours away, and each weekly episode feels like a new conversation with old friends. Plus, Valair has exquisite taste in Premier League clubs. What’s not to like?

I’ve been a follower of this show from before day one and it just keeps getting better. These 3 (4 w/ the producer) folks provide a great breakdown of the club while perfectly representing the fun and community that make NSC and its supporters special. Don’t forget to hit up their Patreon too!

I moved to Nashville two years ago and began following NSC. This podcast helped me catch up quickly and now I never miss an episode. Love their perspective as both fans and a measured approach to covering the team.

Amazing show! Great way to keep up with the day-to-day activities of Nashville Soccer Club or a great way to check in if you’re a fan of another MLS team before a NSC game. As an out of town fan, I’m thankful there’s such an easy way to stay up to date with NSC.

Love listening to the show on the way to work. Great insight and love to hear about old stories. Best soccer show in TN. Love the passion that each one of you bring. Sad to see Stephen leave but glad we don’t have to hear about Chelsea anymore, those were the low moments of the show. Keep up the great work!

Absolutely love this podcast! Clay and I have watched Everton matches together through the years, so it is really neat to hear his insight on Nashville SC as well.
