Jason is a great interviewer, he brings a ton of knowledge and stoke.

There is no doubt this is a skiing centric podcast and if you are a skier of all abilities you could likely digest most of the episodes and come away with at least one tip to take to the hills. However, on a deeper level this podcast is rather cringy. Borderline elitist and West Coast specific. While a good host, Jason is the typical middle aged fella trying to maintain his 20 year old self jn his attitude and speech. Okay, fine. Give it a shot if you want but here is a pro tip: Skip the horrendous Dan English episode. Within 5 minutes he’s dropping the typical rural class slurs as he embarks us on a 45 minute ego trip. Cringe cringe cringe.

Really interesting! It’s surprising how many interesting and varied topics can be discussed surrounding skiing.

Love hearing from people who ski and getting the tips. The Roko Koell episode was so cool; a little history, such a great human, and some great tips. I want to ski with that guy!

Newer to skiing and soaking up whatever resources I can find to get better. This podcast hit the sweet spot! Varied subjects, but none of the content has been too niche, even for a newbie like me. I especially have benefited from the key tips for improving our skiing, shared at the end of each episode.

New listener and decent skier here. This cast has an astounding wealth of information from its guests to help new and experienced skiers alike. Keep up the great work!

The tips that this podcast gives you are great. I particularly liked the episode with Mr. Obermeyer. Very inspirational guy. I have lowered my rating from a 5/5 to a 3/5 because of the episode with Chris Davenport. I started this podcast with the intent of learning more about skiing, not politics. It’s a shame that Chris and Jason had to go off on politics and the current administration. A very uncalled for discussion on a skiing podcast! I’m sure you lost many few followers. Definitely losing mine….

Awesome podcast! Well done, easy flowing conversations with some of the top athletes in the sport of skiing. It’s a great look inside the mind of big mountain skiers,how they prepare for an intense line both physically and mentally along with plenty of tips and tricks to improve your own skiing.

Definitely enter w each episode. The host dropped his late night jazz radio voice after ep 1 and got a whole lot more natural in his interviewing. Excited to keep with it and gathering tips as the podcast improves even more.

Cool podcast with some great insights into the sport. Though they're just a few episodes in so far they have gotten a great lineup of guests to interview that I can only imagine will continue as more and more people hear about it. Well done ya'll!

As a Colorado Native and life long skier, I have been tuned in to Jason Blevins and the Wagner journal for sometime now. Together with guest featured skiers on the podcasts they talk about skiing shred hacks to improve your skiing and take it to the next level. Highly recommend for any serious alpine skier or ski mountaineer.

I’m just getting into skiing and I’m fascinated by all of the various aspects of the sport. This podcast helps me understand skiing from the perspective of experts in and around the sport, and it has already helped me manage some of initial fear around progressing to more difficult runs. The Angel Collinson episode is great and I’m finding myself repeating “you got this” to motivate myself to ski better.
