This podcast is fantastic. Ben and Wayne bring great analysis and banter. The format works wonders because even if the guest is shy promoting their own material, they always open up when it comes to discussing the music they love. You can sense their passion. And by having the guest choose the record, it covers classics and things you may not have previously heard. Can’t recommend highly enough. PS if you avoid episodes about records with political songs, you will avoid the political discussion. Ignore those negative reviews.

Can't stick with music

This is quickly becoming one of my favorite shows. I love the authenticity and feel of it. And it’s nice to find people like me that think music matters. Thank you for what you do. This show makes a big difference in my life. Oh, and I am wearing my Violent Femmes concert T-shirt while writing this.

I love this show. Ben and Wayne have the coolest guests and ask them to take a deep dive into the music that has shaped their lives. Records Revisited is a great way to find your new favorite band.

To answer the question, I’m currently wearing my Romanus Records shirt (shout out to the best custom vinyl company in the midwest). I came across this podcast earlier this year and find myself agreeing or disagreeing with the reviews of the great albums and songs they discuss. This show does a nice job of canvassing some iconic albums, soundtracks, and the artists the gave us the music. I started this podcast from the beginning and looking forward to how many more episodes I have to get current.

These guys have great banter and good insight into the albums they cover. I find myself scoring at home right along with them. Very fun listen!

Want to hear about records? Ok. Some of that. But only listen if you’re ok with far left fact free politics sprinkled in. Believe the lies about DeSantis banning books about baseball players? Crazy, right? These guys believe it.

This podcast has challenged me to listen to invest time in listening to full albums after getting myself sucked into the “singles” mentality of the day. I think I wrote this earlier about the show, but I started listening for nostalgic reasons, but Ben and Wayne have introduced me to a ton of new music through the guests they have reviewing the records. Give it a listen!

I can’t say enough about how awesome of a podcast this is. Great format and guests. You can tell they really LOVE music. I’ve yelled “YES!” and booed them (just a couple times) and cried at the descriptions of songs and what they meant to them. Deep dives on music that deserves it. Love these guys.

The song ranking a fun. I play along and rank before I listen. It’s ruined all other album review podcasts for me. I even listen to albums I don’t even anticipate enjoying because of this podcast. Good stuff!

Great hosts & great guests reviewing great records. What’s not to like?

I came across this podcast by searching my favorite album, Late For the Sky, in the apple podcast app. I was pleasantly surprised that not only did I receive a fun deep dive into the album but also was introduced to one of my favorite albums from this year (2020) which was done by the guest Brian Dunne. Now I listen to the podcast as much for the guests as for the albums. Great work guys keep it up.

The Billy Joel podcast with Alexi Lalas was ethereal. Great analysis, and loved the soccer speak. Plus, Lexi dropped an April Wine reference. Thank you, and Ratt n Roll.

I found out about this podcast from a Facebook group I’m in for Toad the Wet Sprocket. I’ve only listened to one episode so far, but thoroughly enjoyed it. The main host sounds a bit like Howard Stern.

It’s a fun podcast that reminds you to dust off some of the forgotten albums and reminds you why liked them in the first place. It’s also a great place to discover some music you hadn’t bothered to get to know before.

This podcast is so smart because it makes you revisit albums that you haven’t heard in awhile and listen with a fresh ear. It has been so fun to listen to Ben and company pick their favorites and rank their top five on each album.

Smart, funny, informative and a really deep dive into excellent music. A great listen and an awesome way to learn more about the music you love and to find new music. I’ve found a bunch of newer artists who are fantastic. Keep it up guys!

I love the concept of revisiting classic albums and rating each song. Ben and Wayne have great rapport and know their music. I always learn something, even about albums I know by heart.
