I found this podcast while looking for info about landscaping with native plants and I love it. Have been listening to the earlier episodes as they provide a foundation of knowledge. The permaculture episodes are my favorite so far, such a cool concept!

This is the ONLY landscaping podcast I’ve found with great info for planning your planting. I have been looking for a podcast to help me with ideas, plant selection, design for my yard which has nothing in place at present. Thank you for the info to help with analysis and things to consider in establishing my yard and bedding areas. There are almost no landscaping related podcasts! TX gardener

I love Ben’s passion and appreciate his overall philosophy on what landscaping can and should be. Unfortunately a lot of the episodes don’t contain tactical steps or specific, concrete information. A few guests have added that, but Id love Ben to go beyond sharing the broad ideas to actionable steps.

I came across this podcast at random and have enjoyed it very much. I like the variety of topics that are covered and the fact that his podcast gives practical ideas but also inspires people to be creative within the topic he discusses. My constructive feedback is that sometimes he gets a bit sidetracked and loses focus on the topic of the day.

I tried to listen to this podcast but the first two editions talk about his personal issues not actually help in creating a low maintenance yard.

I have throughly enjoyed listening to this podcast. I found it through listening to Epic Gardening. In his podcast, Ben Hale, discusses topics in relations to gardening and life. I’ve appreciated his purpose to find intent in what you do even in gardening and meaningful activities to Enhance not only our lives but the next generation. Thanks Mr Hale.

Great overview and fun format. Ben sounds like he really knows his stuff....I can’t wait for the summer to implement some of his ideas.

He does a great job presenting the various landscaping information. I particularly like the narrower episodes like the ones dealing with planting and diseases. If you are ever beginning a project in your yard, this is certainly worth checking out.

Ben shares great tips for caring for your yard in a way that I can understand and he seems very approachable. I love the angle of keeping things safe in your yard for both your plants and your family, and doing it in a way that is attractive. Every episode, I get a "Huh, I didn't know that" moment!
