I’ve listened to these guys from the beginning. I love the casualness of the entire show. I enjoy the banter and their friendships with each other. I only have one nitpick…one the guys gets awfully dogmatic about their view of symbolism, generally, and dogmatic about their interpretation of any particular symbolism. Contrary to popular belief, not all young Masons are looking for deeper meaning, but rather fellowship, fraternity, and wisdom from their elders. Sometimes there is no deeper meaning in a particular thing. It is what it is, and that is ok. Forcing it is folly, and leads to poor interpretive method. Sometimes there is nothing to be seen in the spaces between letters and lines of a paragraph. I love that this show and group of brothers has given us all a respite from the dogmatic and snobby world of Masonic, pretentious esotericism…except when they don’t. That sounded like a negative review with a 5 star rating, it isn’t. These guys are amazing. I listen faithfully to what feel like my own friends. Keep it up, except for the random symbolic dogma pieces that one of the beloved hosts sometimes goes on.

I have listened to every episode at least once, and many episodes several times. Episode number 136 was particularly interesting to me. I have only been a Mason for a little over three years and have incorporated a lot of what has been presented into my personal Masonic journey. Further, as my way of saying “thank you” I have signed up as a Master Producer-level Patreon. It’s a small amount of money that I know will help keep this show going

I stumbled upon this podcast and am very grateful for it. Freemasonry has so many facets to it, historical, mystical but the thing that has kept me here for almost 30 years has been the friendships and the communal desire to make us all better men. I was reminded of this when during a recent interview with a well known Masonic author they “called him in” (rather than out) for something that could have been construed as being divisive. A super show.

Some people construe the secrecy of our craft as something sinister. This podcast sheds light on the inherently human side of Freemasonry. This is a whimsical, yet informative, satirical yet serious, and humorous yet helpful look at our craft. Here brothers of the craft talk life and freemasonry without violating their obligations to the craft and maintaining fidelity to it. It is a well balanced approach and a podcast well worth listening to. For any non Masons listening, yes, you too can enjoy this spirit of friendship, fun and camaraderie. You too can be one of us! Ask one to be one. Great podcast guys. Really enjoyable material. Great guests and good information delivered in “lite” fashion! 5 stars! Keep up the excellent work.

Imagine five if your best friends getting together every other week to check in with each other and discussing topics of Masonic interest. That what this podcast is all about.

This is a very entertaining podcast on the subject of masonry. If you are a mason, or if you aren’t a mason and just curious about them, these guys are easy to listen to, and down to earth people. These guys have played a big role in my decision to petition last week.
