Even if the “sponsors” (owners) weren’t mentioned, it is abundantly clear the only pulse this show’s finger is on is that of company interests. If you’re looking for a source of futurism that values objectivity, try mind and machine or the Disruptors.

Is this a discussion style podcast or a narrative style? It seems to be a very awkward blend of the two. The subject matter is fantastic and highly entertaining, but I’d like to see a commitment one way or another on how it is executed. Stick to the SYSK format, or take turns narrating without the candid bits of back-and-forth.

Limited discussion on the benefits of 5G versus 4G. Uses connectivity and tries to equate that to 5G. 4G does the job on so many cases that 5G provides no real benefit.

Looking through the reviews, you’d assume they would say T-Mobile for Business every other second, or that they would have T-Mobile employees soap boxing - there is neither. They interview really interesting guests from all over the world, who are doing incredible things. If you love TED talks or Invisibilia, you’ll love the interesting ideas this podcast poses.

The idea of a podcast giving a fair assessment of any topic that is produced and funded by a corporation with a massive vested interest in the subject of the podcast is hilarious. Would you listen to a podcast about the benefits of off shore oil drilling that was paid for and produced by OPEC? Or about the health benefits of some new drug that was funded by the drug manufacturer? Stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. Only positive is at least they’re very open about how biased they are and that this is just one big T-Mobile commercial. Regardless of the positives or negatives of this topic, getting information this biased is never a smart way to go about acquiring new information in life.
