    Craig don’t victim blame:/
I still gave 5 stars because I love this pod and have been listening since before the pandemic. But I was disappointed to hear Craig (despite his claims and intentions) victim blame Mary. Reeds cleared it up right away but this was a serious disappointment for me because I’ve always seen Craig as an ally. I know he is human and makes mistakes and is still an ally but the disappointment comes from expecting him to understand and have stalking victims’ backs instead of implying that kindness and authenticity should be curbed in order to keep men from being dogs. I hope Craig reads this and can meditate on the idea that our society(including Craig) teaches women how to not be assaulted by men, when we should be teaching men to not assault women. By making those statements about “Mary’s patterns”, Craig failed to call out men’s patterns…. Just so disrespectful and disappointing man. I love Kat and Jocelyn too and just can’t believe that Craig’s thoughts are so warped on assault.

    I Love It
This podcast gives you a very different outlook of movies. Sometimes the host’s have to do some serious stretching to indeed get the villain to be right which is very fun listen. You can tell Craig and Rebecca are really good friends and have a great dynamic together. I’m sure at some point they will, or already have covered one of your favorite films and could potentially change how you feel about your favorite or even least favorite character. Definitely give them a listen.

    Binge worthy fun!
I discovered this podcast after listening to I Hate It But I Love It, this makes a great companion piece. I love Rebecca and Craig‘s take on some of my favorite movies, even if they trash them. I have been binging like crazy, looking forward to getting through as much of their library as I can.

    Like… so like…that and like…
Good premise, but tried listening to the Mononoke episode and it was quite excruciating. They were just recapping with no real substance or information that adds to the film. The worst aspect was the hosts repeating the word “like” every 5 seconds. So yeah… not for me. Great album cover though.

    Love the premise
The premise of this is ingenious, but Rebecca’s over-the-top, screechy responses to everything grate on my nerves at times.

    The escape I need 💚
Great premise, fun riffs. Great light-hearted show to listen to when I’m making dinner and unwinding from a crazy workday!

    10/10, do recommend
Rebecca and Craig are perfect compliments to each other. Rebecca is usually very opinionated and unhinged (in a delightful and hilarious way) and Craig is much more level and analytical (just don’t obliviously stand around blocking him at the store). They change the way you perceive some of the villains and reveal that maybe someone you didn’t think was an obvious villain actually is. I tend to side with Rebecca on most of the analyses and I BINGE these episodes whenever I am by myself or on travel. 10/10, do recommend.

Rebecca please stop the fake laughing
I really like this show and got into it after listening to IHIBILI. The content is solid and funny. Rebecca’s fake 60’s Joker laughter is distracting. I’ve heard her do standup. She’s good; doesn’t laugh like that. It’s like banshee howling. Rebecca, you’ve got our attention, please stop the fake scream laughter.

    Comforting in dark times
I only recently discovered this podcast with the discussion of the unhinged villainy of Evan Hansen arch criminal and then I got to hear their opinion of the Menu. These Guys have a funny, quirky way of discussing movies and just the most amazing conversations!

    Absolutely Hilarious 🤣
Whenever I’m having a rough day, I always come and listen to this podcast, and it cheers me right up. The hosts play off of each other so well, and are an absolute joy to listen to, and it’s always neat to hear their perspectives on the films they cover in the midst of all the laughs. Thank you for bringing a bit of sparkle into my days 😊❤️❤️❤️

Scream Laughing The Whole Way Through
Craig and Rebecca are some of the funniest podcasters around. Their takes on the movies they watch is always entertaining, even when just playing “devil’s advocate” (sometimes literally). This show is consistently the highlight of my day when it drops. You can tell their banter and friendship is completely genuine and while the “main show” is amazing on its own, I also recommend going to Patreon and getting the bonus episodes if it is within your financial means. Even when not arguing for the villain, their takes on the films they watch is alway fun.

    Good not great
I have been listening for about a year and I feel like the earlier episodes were considerably more interesting. My rating is for those episodes. They are inconsistent on sticking to the premise with each review. Overtime I think Rebecca has become too much. Once she decides a character is like someone she dislikes in real life, it’s like she tosses out the plot line and any reasonable argument. Also, not sure she’s even interested in the premise anymore. If you can get pass that (which I can’t so I don’t listen as frequently) then it’s enjoyable. They have great energy and are often funny.

    Best Podcast Ever Made
I listen to this podcast almost every morning. I haven’t laughed this much ever while listening to a Podcast and they never lose their hilarious edge. I love how real the hosts are and how lighthearted they are. I’ve started using “insane” and “yum yum yum” unintentionally and just love it. Thank you both so much for making my days great!

    You had me at “Anaconda”
Great podcast, hilarious hosts, and some interesting philosophical ideas to mull over—but you won’t miss out if you don’t feel like mulling. Either way, listen to Anaconda. Brilliant. Essential listening for everyone everywhere. Listen to it!

    Mental health
Yikes! These people talk about mental health as if they are an authority. Please please please for the love of all that is holy stop. It’s ok to talk about mental health. It’s not ok for COMEDIANS to make a statement as if it is factually correct about mental health when if could not be further from the truth. This is dangerous. Stick to comedy you both make horrible health professionals.

    Gives me life
Actually came here on a rec from IHIBILI and have been hooked ever since. These two are hilarious and I love hearing them debate everything from Black Panther to Babe with equal consideration. And it is all I want in this world for them to do Lake Placid next. Every villain is right- but mostly Betty White

    Great podcast
These hilarious podcast hosts guide you though a different perspective for films (and the occasional series) than what the film intended, and by the end I am usually in complete agreement with them.

    Hilarious podcast!
This is a great light-hearted podcast. The hosts have great chemistry and I find myself talking about their villain defenses probably too much at work. I also like learning little tidbits about Canada along the way. Raccoons!! Fingers crossed that License to Drive will be chosen soon.

    My favorite podcast
Craig and Rebecca are fabulous—totally fun to listen to. I’m not much of a movie buff, but I get a complete kick out of listening to these two. 100% recommended.
  • It's Just James
    Simply Splendid
Sure, you can listen to well-formed arguments as to why villains actions are justified. But you should come for Craig's science facts, and stay Rebecca's real time therapy
  • AshtynL
Just an excuse to hate on movies
I love the concept of this podcast, but I don’t love the execution. Sure, they define who the “real” villains are, but not before tearing the movie apart. I won’t listen to episodes of movies I enjoy anymore because the majority of the time is used to comment on everything they don’t like about the movie. I’d love it if the episodes focused more on the actual villain and analyzed possibilities of why they did what they did. I also love Rebecca, but she doesn’t seem as receptive to Craig and he is to her. She’ll make a comment and he’ll laugh and respond, whereas when he makes a comment she’ll maybe give a small laugh and move on to something else she wants to say. Overall, it’s a fun concept but I don’t want to waste an hour of my time listening to people tear apart great movies.

    Sadly disappointed
Was really looking forward to this podcast after hearing about the concept. After listening to the first 5 episodes, it’s disappointing how evident it is that the hosts know very little about the movies, and their takes are pretty weak. Shame

    Funny hosts, great content!
This podcast is incredible! I can’t wait for every new episode. The hosts do a great job keeping conversation flowing, and have an easy, natural back-and-forth. I HIGHLY suggest this podcast to anyone who likes movies or comedy. On the off chance anyone from TVWR sees this, keep up the great work! Seriously, I have no criticisms. Keep it up guys and gals!

    Fantastic Podcast!
Recent discovery, I was randomly looking for Jurassic Park content (in May of 2021, nerdy, I know) and stumbled upon their defense of Dennis Nedry aka Newman aka Wayne Knight, and found it to be delightful and hilarious. I’ve since listened to at least a dozen episodes, Rebecca and Craig have a fantastic sense of humor. Wildly entertaining, highly recommended.

    Never Shut It Down
I have never laughed so hard as when I listen to Craig and Rebecca destroy the character of every beloved hero that crosses their paths. Equal parts science and righteous anger, it feeds my soul!
  • Two Peas in a Podcast12
    Awesome podcast!
Love it. The hosts really go into detail regarding a movie or series characters and their motivtions, and theorize whether or not they deserve to be the hero or the villian.
